Excellent article! Notice for instance that INTP/ENTP types are probably the people who you were inspired by in high school and college (as well as in Sunday school and at institute) while SF types (click on the "16 Types" link at top) are likely to be the people who had rules and set patterns for what needed to be taught and why, with little flexibility.

I think we can see these personality types at play in all areas of life. An INTP or ENTP will analyze something up, down and sideways no matter what the issue is. Yet these are the dynamic people who can accomplish great things. However, place an INTP or ENTP in a class at seminary or at Church where an ISFJ or ESFJ is leading the lesson and sit back and watch the battle begin. :D

I am an INTP. For me, grade school was a complete waste of time. I feel like purpose of grade school was to make me feel dumb. I was labled as a slow learner. In creative writing we were given some music to listen to and then told to write down what it made us think of. Most of the class had similar ideas, mine was so different I was made to feel like I didn't fit in and it was dumb. It took me until high school to get rid of that stigma and I started to realize that I was more methodical and complete about the subject I was learning, and while it took me longer to read and do homework, my retention rate was much higher then others. I despise our education system.

University style learning was far easier for me than high school. Learning on my own is even better and faster.
I was told by the university that the purpose of taking a philosophy class was to teach me how to think. It didn't take long that I realized that the purpose of the class was to help me to learn to think like them! I rejected it.

My definition of hell would be to be forced to carry a Franklen planer and to be made to use it. :)

I've consistently scored INTJ on these things throughout my adult life, and both of my sons also.

I don't remember what my wife is, but I feel sorry for her having to deal with us. (I am pretty sure she is I??P)
