What is the Covenant made between God and America?

Has anyone read "The American Covenant" by Timothy Ballard? Apparently, through extensive research, Tim comes up with some information that is just overwhelming.

What is the Covenant?

Tim gives us a hint:

BALLARD: The covenant ‑‑ well, really look at the Old Testament. The Old Testament establishes a covenant. God says to Israel, I will be your God and you will be my people. And he promises them liberty and protection, prosperity, if they adhere to him. If they turn their hearts to him. And there’s this story that develops in the Old Testament, a fascinating story. This story continues in the promised land of America.

Christ lays it out plainly to the brother of Jared.

This land is a choice land above all other lands and the inhabitants will flourish if righteousness is maintained. If not, the judgement of God will come swiftly and strongly among the people and effectively sweep them off the face of the land.

God's anger is undoubtedly kindled against the American people. The corruption of morality is just about fully ripe. Not many years from now we will see his hand come down in justice upon us. This judgement will begin at his own house, sifting out the hypocrites from the faithful that claim to know Him. This has already begun IMO.

It's an exciting time in history, if not a bit unnerving.

The persecution against the people of the church will commence once again. We have been free of it for a long time but not for much longer. We have been warned about this very recently by Elder Hales.

I just got to thinking about the persecution aspect. I think persecution, in part, will be because the church will refuse to perform gay marriages. Also the push for ordain women with the priesthood may not be over either. And members wanting polygamy, for whatever reasons, could become an issue that will have to be dealt with.
Don't we hear about a big falling away? There are a lot of issues and wild doctrines that will possibly be a major part in the very elect being pushed to great limits.
