All the warnings and history of the lds church and it's prophets about the deceptions and indoctrination happening in public schools by satan and men. If you want most of the ward to never speak to you again.

The long answer. And also tell us exactly all your beliefs so we don't give you any stupid ideas that run contrary to them. :)

Base it on one conference talk given by Marion G Romney in Oct 1965 and published again in the ERA in Dec 1965. It was called " Making Our Calling and Election Made Sure". Hard to be criticized for quoting what a GA said in GC and which was republished with the approval of the Correlation Committee in the Improvement Era

Do you have a link? The only one I'm familiar with, which I have bookmarked is from 1975. The Light of Christ

How about all Joseph Smith taught on receiving the Second Comforter in this life? You can support it with all the scriptures that talk about the thousands of people who received the Lord and those scriptures that also say we are supposed to receive Him in this lifetime. :D

That's a good topic, too. I think MR's progressive ward would appreciate it.

Tell them all the ways Zion is prospering and list a bunch of ways how they can focus more on the prophet and the other general authorities.

Or if you want to be "progressive" make a case how spending their tithing money at City Creek is just as good as paying it to the church.

You're hilarious!!!

Jules that's also a good topic but I'm not sure i could find enough material for just that. I can't just get up and "talk" I'm gonna be READING this talk lol. There will be no eye contact with anyone except my husband (maybe). And I'm the last speaker...hubby first....i know he won't talk long. Perhaps i could combine your idea and boos
:-o

We need to start a thread with NO argument, simply for the purpose of collecting SC scriptures and quotes, and testimonies of visits from the Lord - all stuff that can be found on LDS.org and in your quad I PROMISE you will have enough material.

FWIW, the author of your article had four kids. It must be pretty good homemade modest lingerie. I know lingerie doesn't cause kids, but it can be a contributing factor. ===, where do you find this stuff? =))

I can't tell if you two are being serious. Are there really church members out there who wear their temple garments during uh...play time?

Some of us had religion teachers at BYU as well as Temple Presidents who told us that we must, and yes I know some who do and think those who don't are surely going to hell

Worth it...the Presiding Bishopric controls the funds for meetinghouse and temple construction. Currently there are only two buildings for construction in 2016 for the entire North American membership. A standard building for 3 wards cost about 4.2 million. They actually saved money on your big monstrosity. Over 3 million was saved over building separate buildings. The Church must find new ways of housing its members. What would happen if membership was at 64,000,000. This is the number Pres. Monsoon has everyone working toward...and then shortly thereafter 300,000,000 members.

Right now the PB is hunkering down and saving vast amounts of money. What's left is being redirected outside of North America.
