Just prophesying...

Just here to share what prophecy comes to me from the Spirit for the benefit of us all. Starting with September 2015.

Anything that comes to you by the spirit is for the benefit of you and perhaps your immediately family. It is not to counsel, instruct or warn the general body of the Church.

I'm willing to hear your thoughts and inputs, as that's what a discussion forum is for, but I don't think you should feel obligated to "prophecy" to us, because that ordained calling is given to those who hold the keys of that level of ministry, whom are the 15 prophets, seers and revelators of the Church. Anything received not through this proper channel as defined clearly by the Lord is to be taken with a grain of salt.

Join the bandwagon! If you include an NDE, you could write a book. Just make sure to emphasize who's in charge so you don't get called in to your bishop's office. :ymdevil:

Alma 32:23
D&C 88:81-82
Num. 11:27-29
Acts 21:8-11
D&C 1:18-23; 38:23; 88:77; 88:118; 107:85; and 109:7
Etc.

Actually, as the scriptures point out very clearly, we ARE commanded to teach, testify, expound on the scriptures, share visions, revelation, prophecy, etc., regardless of earthly credentials - and regardless of how unpopular it makes us. NONE of the prophets in the scriptures came with earthly credentials - God's messengers have always come from outside the church structure of the time.

So if Sept2015 receives prophecies from God, he/she has an obligation to testify of them. Whether you receive/accept it or not, is your problem.

The guys in Moses' camp in those scriptures above had the same beef you do and thought only Moses should do that. Glad he clarified that for us.

By all means, go ahead and soak in every word this guy has to say then. He clearly is a divine messenger called to preach to the internet crowd.

I'm being sarcastic now, but c'mon really? You have to formulate some sort of misplaced argument to try and and give this any credibility?

We are to testify of what has been made known through the proper channel (duly ordained prophets and canonized scripture).

Moses, et al were from outside the Church structure at the time because there was no proper church or authority established. Hello! Right now we do have that. We have very certain instructions from the Lord to give heed to the first presidency and the twelve because THEY are the proper authorities of the Church to reveal additional information as the Lord instructs.

We have all sorts of "spencers" "snuffers" and "rowes" giving people all manner of unauthorized teachings and ideas and it's the fault of all the impatient and unheeding members that let this sort of crap fly off the handle in the first place. You have excommunicated members leading people away claiming to know stuff that others don't, having them convinced that the Lord's church has "fallen" which he guaranteed us he would NOT allow to happen this time around. Snufferites, I'm pointing at you. He's not called of God, he's not a PSR and he has no authorization from God to preach his word.

Simply put, hold to the rod and nothing else. That is our instructions. Read the scriptures, study them, learn from them and follow the counsel of the 15 PSR's the Lord has called. We are also to relay these messages and teachings. NOT prophecy or reveal additional things to the general body of the Church that have not gone through the proper authoritative channel.

Shall I now bombard you with scriptures backing my point or can you use common sense?

Please don't mistake my bluntness for rudeness. I'm not being rude nor have I any intention of causing bad feelings. I cannot let people readily grasp at every word spoken over an internet forum. We have a solid, concrete and established organization that has been guided by the Lord's hand. We don't need "more" of anything until the Lord gives it to us, and he will do so through the President of His Church.

The thread is about the most hilarious thing I've read here on LDSFF.

Mockers gonna mock. No matter what.
