Ephesians 5:

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Respectfully dedicated:

It was while I was working at a service station in Edgemont while going to school at B.Y.U. that a man came into the station whom I didn't know, while recognizing the vehicle as one belonging to Osmond Studios. The man questioned me, "Don't you know who I am?" I didn't. I remembered his name as he signed the credit card slip to try and figure it out. His name was Maurice Gibb. I know who he is. The Bee Gees (my initials; therefore, B.G.'s) have been inspirational in some of their lyrics and music - for which I am appreciative. Here is one:

Lyrics

So this is who I am,
And this is all I know.
And I must choose to live,
For all that I can give,
The spark that makes the power grow.

And I will stand for my dream if I can,
Symbol of my faith in who I am,
But you are my only.

And I must follow on the road that lies ahead.
And I won't let my heart control my head.
But you are my only.

We don't say goodbye.
We don't say goodbye.
And I know what I've got to be

Immortality.
I make my journey through eternity.
I keep the memory of you and me inside.

Fulfill your destiny.
Is there within the child?
My storm will never end.
My fate is on the wind.
The king of hearts, the joker's wild.

But we don't say goodbye.
We don't say goodbye.
I'll make them all remember me.

'cause I have found a dream that must come true.
Every ounce of me must see it through.
You are my only.

I'm sorry I don't have a role for love to play.
Hand over my heart I'll find my way.
I will make them give to me..(yeah)

Immortality.(oh baby)
There is a vision and a fire in me.(oh)
I keep the memory of you and me, inside.

We don't say goodbye.
We don't say goodbye.
With all my love for you.
And what else we may do

Lyrics

There must be lights burning brighter somewhere
Got to be birds flying higher in a sky more blue
If I can dream of a better land
Where all my brothers walk hand in hand
Tell me why, oh why, oh why can't my dream come true

There must be peace and understanding sometime
Strong winds of promise that will blow away
All the doubt and fear
If I can dream of a warmer sun
Where hope keeps shining on everyone
Tell me why, oh why, oh why won't that sun appear

We're lost in a cloud
With too much rain
We're trapped in a world
That's troubled with pain
But as long as a man
Has the strength to dream
He can redeem his soul and fly

Deep in my heart there's a trembling question
Still I am sure that the answer gonna come somehow
Out there in the dark, there's a beckoning candle
And while I can think, while I can talk
While I can stand, while I can walk
While I can dream, please let my dream
Come true, right now
Let it come true right now
Oh yeah

i was not born in teh LDS church, but i was fully converted even before i joined the church, it only took ten years MORE to be convinced of mormon doctrine and it took 30 years more to come to Loving the D&C and the teachings of the presidents. i may disagree with prophets here and therefore personal teachings, but i will not push the issues against them, i made that mistake early on in my membership.

here is a link to my own favorites of Music. both maranath praise and Afterglow

It's...Supercalifredulisticexpialidosious! :D

The song "Feed The Birds" is actually beautifully Christ-like.

Now, a different style - a mix of folk and country...
And I know John Denver's been mentioned, still - there are many songs by him that are very spiritual.

Earth Music by Ron Cisar, most of Duke Special's music, especially when his friend with the stump fiddle is playing, The Divine Comedy (Neil Hannon) has great social messages and he is a brilliant singer/songwriter if you pick and choose, Pugwash has some really fun songs, The Duckworth Lewis Method is all about cricket of which I am a fan (and consists of Neil Hannon and the singer from Pugwash working together), the Proclaimers are rather good, John Denver has many great songs, I like several of Matisyahu's songs (like some of the other posters). There is a lot of fantastic music out there. I am always grateful when I stumble across another obscure, but brilliantly talented artist whether they are local or from far away.

OOOK,
Divine Comedy reminds me a little of Jim Morrison's voice (the Doors).

Sigur Ros - They are a band from Iceland with a gentile melodic tone. They take some getting us to but are absolutely amazing. I say them at Red Rocks in Colorado and it was a spiritual experience. You don't understand a word they are saying because it's all sung in Icelandic.

Sounds like you got a dose of some Swedish Black Metal. Great stuff!!!

I grew up with The Beatles and The Beach Boys. I still think Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys is the best album in the world.... that right, I said world.

Those are some great bands! When ever I am asked who is my favorite singer or what type of music is my favorite, I haven't been able to give an answer, I love so many, it is hard to pick just one.

This song, I've used when I've debated in behalf of children (developing humans) who are being systematically cruelly killed (aborted) based on age discrimination.

I want to Live, by John Denver

A couple more:

Can I live, Rick Cannon (based on his own story, expressing gratitude that his mom decided NOT to abort him)
This brought tears to my eyes.
