Just read President Hinckley's talk from conference 2005 "If Ye Are Prepared Ye Shall Not Fear." This talk screams to me to prepare for these catastrophic events. Even without Ranae Lee's dreams we should be preparing for these catastrophic events.

That's catastrophic events familyman...and I have read President Hinckley's talk and have quoted it on this forum. I'm talking about all these earthquakes etc. starting as soon as she claims. But, I'm with you about preparedness and that this is the basic message the true prophets have been warning us of. I've been preparing and studying the words of the prophets, The Book of Mormon etc. I've also read Menet's and Ranae's visions many times, as I've mentioned, and I can't help but pay attention to them. I'm trying not to be fearful, but I feel that I'm behind in getting prepared on multiple levels, and I reserve the right to be skeptical.

If the Earthquake or Quakes actually do occur at any time in the next 100 years and S.L. Valley is liquified then how will REDWOOD Rd. possibly be used to evacuate. Its right in the middle of the Valley and the rolling wave prediction that will roll off the Wasatch fault westward would turn that road into rubble along with everything else. It would not be pretty.

I choose faith. thanks threepercentite, for the very good points. I think my problem is I am trying to build that foundation of faith, and it's in the early stages, so fear creeps up on me. Sometimes I wonder if I need to spend the time I use on this forum and read the scriptures instead.

I found the speaker to be very sincere and matches up well to things I've been finding out. That being said, I only listened to the mp3, and have not read anything else she's said. She could be an attention-seeker (having 9 kids I could imagine needing to get out...). Doesn't matter. It's clear we're hanging over the edge of a precipice about to slide down headlong into major events of the Last Days.

Fear has inspired me to get myself in order. When the promise is obtained, fear is replaced with faith. Without the promise, we either fall back to all-is-well-in-Zion or apathy/ignorance... or we're stuck in fear.

Economic Collapse

Next it was as if I was at the NYSE I saw two men in a tug of war over money. Then others joined in from all sides and they all started pulling. The money was stretching more and more and getting thinner and thinner. Finally one man broke away with a small piece in his hands. Then the gov. poured more into the center of the fray. It only made the money weaker and more brittle and thinned it out. Then the stretched out money tore right down the middle, and finally exploded. Everyone landed on their backs and their hands were empty, they stood up, brushed themselves off and looked around, all the money gone.

Then again I saw the house of cards, it had fallen and the cards were laying everywhere in disarray on the NYSE floor. Next I witnessed suicides all over. There was mass chaos and the public demanding a solution. Our nation was broke and the situation cascaded all over the world from here. The repercussions were worldwide.

Next I saw the military trying to bring order. I saw the president's face, he had his hands behind his back... silently waving at someone to keep hidden, it was the Illuminati- they were trying to implement their plans as soon as possible but he was clumsy about it and the people were not conditioned yet.. The people were still too angry to go along with their plans and the illuminati- move was too soon, so it didn't work yet.

Someone needs to make this 'vision' into a musical farce. Seriously!!! It has all the elements for a great burlesque.

Lots of people will wake up when they can laugh about what is happening in their world. We have great musical talent in the Church. It wouldn't need to be Church sanctioned or anything. This vision appears to be straight up non-denominational.

I am going to take the information given from the Prophet of the Lord and apply it to my life. I feel General conference carrys more weight than some lady who is selling vitamins. Revelation to The Church as a whole is a function of the Priesthood.

I had a dream last night, the second night in a row of interesting dreams. Usually, I don't dream, or at least I don't remember them, but these two stand out as the most detailed and memorable dreams I've ever had. I don't think that they mean anything, but I thought about posting the latest dream here the moment I woke up this morning (please note that I don't believe that my dream has any significance or relevance and probably because some of these other dreams are on my mind).
I was driving my car in a hurry on I-15 southbound in the S.L. valley, heading home and feeling a sense of urgency. It was dawn-twilight and the road lights were on overhead. It was getting difficult to travel as I was weaving around chunks of broken-up roadway and cars that were stalled/parked, then came to a precipice - a piece of road teetering up high - seemed like around Midvale at an interchange. Parking the car, I got out and noticed that there were people wandering, standing around and talking everywhere I looked. I started running toward home. I ran down side roads, of which I don't recall any details, then for some reason decided to go back to my car, but I ran back via the interstate this time. There were many people and it didn't seem that they all had the same sense of urgency as I did? There was two men fist-fighting at a low section of buckled road, I think they were twins, but I can't recall for sure. Most of the people standing around them didn't seem to concerned. I paused for a moment, then started running again arriving at my car for a moment, grabbing something that I don't recall, then deciding to run down the interstate again because there were lights illuminating the roadway. I weaved my way down an embankment of broken road, then back up again and then I woke up.

That's funny...especially so because I was thinking just yesterday about how I was 'fixed' within the past year and how 'maybe I was supposed to have more children'.
And I was thinking about you last night, in terms of when we met down at UVSC, and you seemed familiar. You seem like a good soul, and I thought how I could sense that and I saw it in your eyes, but we didn't have a good chance to talk under the circumstances. Anyways, I have read that dreams often take on the opposite meaning, so I'll take it as my travels to and from home will be unimpeded.
