But that's what you're doing. You think D&C 123:12-17 is more important than anything. I quoted Matthew above to try to give you some perspective -- the perspective that Jesus offers on the subject.

It's lack of knowledge that causes gods people to be destroyed.

D&c 123 is asking us to gain knowledge of satans traps and snares so we don't fall prey to them.

Scriptures are here for us to gain knowledge of God.
both sets of knowledge are equally important.

The reason I try to open people's eyes to D&c 123 is because almost no one is doing as asked in gaining that knowledge or turning a light onto that darkness.

It dosent mean walk in darkness it's the opposite. Walk in light. Knowing and avoiding all satans pit falls.

Most lds don't do this and it's why they fall. It's why so few are chosen.

As the scripture says this knowledge is very important let no one count it as a small thing.

Like so many things it's inseperable from the gosple.

But if you would rather have those blinders on so be it. But don't say one is more important then the other.

Think of it this way. Do police officers carry guns and wear bullet proof vest? Yes they do. Because they work in a world where there are bad guys. We live in a world where satan and his minions are evey where. And if there is a big gang of them on 4th st. Only an ignorant person would walk down 4th st to get mugged raped or killed by these thugs.

Knowing who they are helps us avoid them. Knowing who they are and what they do might prompt us to wear protection to protect ourselfs and our family's. And to avoid them as much as possible. As in our world we don't have police protecting us from satan it our own job.
