Was Recently Baptized and I'm looking for somewhere to help me with my ventures into the church as well as kick back and share my thoughts/questions/concerns with like minded people.

I'm a bit busy tonight so you'll have to excuse the brief introduction but it's nice to be here.

I also want to add that there are a lot of deep doctrines shared here that most new members will not understand yet so I hope you don't get scared away. Always pray about the doctrines that are discussed. I've even been surprised at truths shared about our LDS church but after much prayer and study, I've actually come to agree with it. I still believe our church is true, but have come to realize that many members (leaders, bishops, etc) are not inspired.

I've enjoyed what I've learned so far and intend to make LDS the foundation block of my life from here on out. I still have a lot to learn but the '' scary stuff '' was water off a duck's back. I'm old enough and wise enough to identify Sensationalistic Hyperbole when I see it. None of which has managed to turn me away from the teachings and wisdom.

I'll probably spend the first month or two in the back ground reading up on the threads and looking at some of the more popular topics. I'm based in Britain just so you know but I like to keep an eye on the events of America. I had a little chuckle at the '' Outer Darkness '' section, brilliant idea and very fitting.
