Chicago experience was amazing.
Thank you to all who were able to attend at least one of the two events that were held. I learned so much from you.

Amazon will be setting up an option for a pre-order of the book I think sometime the end of October. Don't have an official release date yet but probably sometime around mid November at the latest.
As soon as I have dates I will post them on here as well as on my website http://www.julieroweprepare.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Thanks!

Re: I've turned into a Julie Rowe believer
If we read Joel chapter 2 carefully and vers 28 in particular. We find that it is after the Lords day of judgement that the spirit will be poured out on "all remaining" flesh. This is not to say that some of the "chosen flesh" can have the spirit of prophesy (dreams and visions) before the Lords day of judgement.olinselot wrote:I can say this much about Julie Rowe. Several years ago when I was in an Elder's Quorum presidency I had an assignment to pray about what we, as a presidency, needed to do for the ward. Long story short - within a few days of that I had a dream where I saw a lot of thing. At the end of the dream I was standing in front of a massive building that had several other huge buildings connected to it. The buildings were all connected with large archways that I referred to as "buttresses" when I told my wife when I woke up. I saw a lot of detail, including that instead of an Angel Moroni at the top it was a statue of Jesus Christ with his arms outstretched. When I saw the statue of Jesus on the spire that's when I realized it was the temple at New Jerusalem and that He had come - no longer needing Moroni to herald His coming because he was there.
Fast forward to last week. My wife was reading Julie's book and she jumped off the couch and came and found me to read to me her description of the temple at New Jerusalem. Her description was exactly what I saw in my dream. That was a huge point of confirmation to me that what she saw was probably for real. Not to mention listening to her interview with Mill Crenshaw where she was able to openly answer questions on the spot that were all consistent with other visions I've read and heard.
Joel 2: 28-32 and Acts 2:17-21 clearly state that these things will happen and should be expected in our time. Joel 2: 28-32 was also repeated to Joseph Smith Jr by Moroni 3 times when he appeared in his bedroom.
28 ¶And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

I would suggest it's more of a revelation than Spencer/Rowe and co have had.pollibird wrote:Revalation or opinion?

Re: I've turned into a Julie Rowe believer
As far as the comment goes as , "God doesn't talk to blabbermouths" I will say this. There was a time when these sacred occurrences were to be kept private. That time is now over. We are in God's judgment. It has already begun. I venture to say we have been in God's judgement for over a decade. Now is the time for the scriptural reference from Joel to be fulfilled. The spirit of prophecy will be poured out among many average individuals. I believe a loving Heavenly Father and Savior are warning those who will listen in any way they can. The Prophet and Apostles have a very important stewardship in crying repentance to God's children. They are also to testify of their divinity. They have warned repeatedly to prepare, but can you imagine the utter chaos that would ensue if they stood from the pulpit and said, Hey all, You have just a few months or years to prepare for the end. Not to mention the criticism that the church would be under from outside organizations. In God's tender mercies he is allowing individuals to share their experiences as a way to calmly spread the message. Those that are prepared by the spirit will recognize these warnings, and well, those who are not will mock them. We are surely seeing that happen. Julie and Spencer were given permission to speak of their experiences at this time when the time to prepare both temporally and spiritually is short. I am so grateful for their obedience to the Lords commands. I trust that when instruction to flee to a tent city or any other command is given, it will come from the Prophet. I 100 percent believe in Julie's experiences and that she is fulfilling a critical mission. However, if she were to say that we all need to flee now, of course I would not heed that command. Her responsibility is to give gentle warnings and the Prophet and Apostles will carry out the end instructions. Julie if you are reading this I want you to know that I am extremely grateful for what you have done in spite of the persecution you are receiving. I pray for you to have strength and peace. You are a special person that is magnifying your calling. There are many that are forever humbled in gratitude for that.

Re: I've turned into a Julie Rowe believer
Wow, I don't think the timing of this comment could have been any better for me, at least in my own personal scripture study. I read this from Amos 7 this morning:Catherine wrote:The spirit of prophecy will be poured out among many average individuals.
14 ¶Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet’s son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:
15 And the Lord took me as I followed the flock, and the Lord said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.
Interestingly, since Amos was prophecying doom against the Kingdom of Israel he was accused of conspiring against the king and the house of Israel, which I think is what you are saying would happen to the Prophet and Apostles if they were to be so open, at least at this point in time.Catherine wrote:Not to mention the criticism that the church would be under from outside organizations.

I've not read Rowe or spencer so I have no comment. I've read Snuffer and he's full of crap. Sara Menet was/is also wrong, but she put dates on her prophecies so that was easy to decide once they never happened. She also got into some weird vegetarian stuff and sabbath day teachings that were her opinion taught as truth. There was also another lady who did as Sara did and was proven false but I can't remember her name. She prophecied that the space shuttle would blow up on its last trip. She and Sara both had a little following of people on this site.
I may buy Rowes book. Haven't decided yet.

Weird vegetarian stuff? Do you mean eat meat only in times of hunger cold and famine? I saw that in d&c the other day and was shocked at how ignored it is. I've recently decided to go way more sparing with meat and now (after reading that) I feel even more justified. Did she teach to never eat meat at all?

"I've read Snuffer and he's full of crap" - love it shadow, it needed saying. If you read Spencer you'll arrive at the same conclusion. As for Rowe, I suspect the same.shadow wrote:But then again the bible and BOM are full of blabber mouths.Robin Hood wrote:Nemelka, Snuffer, Spencer, Rowe....

The Bible and Book of Mormon are full of bona fide prophets and apostles, not self proclaimed table-jumpers.

Re: I've turned into a Julie Rowe believer
I went to Julie's Chicago meeting. Her message is a message of preparation and hope. She stressed over and over again how we need to learn to discern the Spirit's voice. She also talked about how her message was not critical to being prepared. Those who believe her or read her book will not have any advantages over those who don't when tribulations come. The key is listening to the Lords will for us. She is simply adding her voice of warning to all those we already have.
A few other of my notes:
Learn to discern spirits and discern The Spirit.
Practice listening to The Spirit, if it is good, do it. Pay attention to how you feel. The Spirit will train you to bring your will to the Lord's will. More you listen and obey, the more the Lord can speak to you and use you to do His will.
Holy Ghost is the revelator, not dreams or visions. There are no shortcuts, go to the Lord with your questions.
Trust the Lord, he will not give us knowledge we are not prepared for.
Study the scriptures and what the prophets have told us, especially listen to the upcoming general conference. Pray to hear the message He has for you.
Fear is a tool of Satan. Lord works through charity (patience, love, long suffering)
Pray to heavenly father in the name of Jesus Christ for angels to protect you
Opposition is how we grow.
There is power/protection even in our thoughts. Visualize actually putting on the armor of God each morning.
We will see much evil and many trials, even those who gather, but the Lord will match it and surpass it with the Love and miracles he gives (suggested watching 17 miracles for an idea of what we will see)
I admit to hoping that she would tell us something about what she saw in relation to the Chicago area, but she did not feel that was necessary/appropriate. She also didn't have any advice for when things would go bad, just to prepare now. A few questions were asked regarding the "call out". She just said that what she saw was the call to gather would happen through the priesthood organization that is already in place.
Hope that is helpful to some of you. I understand being skeptical, I am naturally as well. I think that it is wise to be cautious. My own skepticism of her has greatly diminished. She shows nothing other than a desire to serve the Lord and share a message of inviting others to follow the Lord as well.

Perhaps she will next announce a really good line in dry-packed food at a special price.
One thing that I find interesting about both Rowe and Spencer... they are very provincial. There are more non-US saints in the world but it would appear the Lord is only interested in warning the Americans. The rest of us are ignored.
The British once saved the church, seems we may have to do it again.

Re: I've turned into a Julie Rowe believer
Her mention of the second book was really to tell us that if we were expecting a whole lot of new information we would be disappointed. She was teasing that she could already imagine her detractors saying, a whole new book and she still didn't tell us anything we didn't already know! There was no "I can't tell you that, but you can find out in my next book" if that is what you meant.

I'll just buy it myself if I decide to read it.
I have a copy of As a Thief in the Night by Roger K Young. I have the first edition. Apparently since his predictions in the first edition didn't come to pass at his suggested dates, he sold other editions with revised dates. I kinda just keep to the scriptures as of late, the end days events are in there too, granted, not specifics and they're certainly veiled (symbols etc.).
