I have read Julie's book and it meshes nicely with other folks I'm aquainted with and their experiences with visions, NDE, and prophecies from the President's of the Church and others that have been recorded. Truth comes from many places, and for me, I believe Julie has accurately related the experience and what she was shown. Article of faith no. 13, we seek after these types of things.

Perfectly stated.

Received this in my email this morning and it made me think of this thread:
"The spirit of revelation is available to every person who receives by proper priesthood authority the saving ordinances of baptism by immersion for the remission of sins and the laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost—and who is acting in faith to fulfill the priesthood injunction to “receive the Holy Ghost.” This blessing is not restricted to the presiding authorities of the Church; rather, it belongs to and should be operative in the life of every man, woman, and child who reaches the age of accountability and enters into sacred covenants. Sincere desire and worthiness invite the spirit of revelation into our lives." —David A. Bednar
I hope I'm not misusing the quote.

While I was at work today, my wife read Julie's book, cover to cover. That's quite a feat when you consider she spends the day chasing our twin 18 month old girls around the house. When I got home we ended up talking about it for a while.

The biggest question I had for her: "Do you think it's true?"

Answer: "Of course."

Keeping in mind my wife is fairly independent and wouldn't just agree with me for the sake of agreeing with me. I thought that was pretty cool. I hope everyone can be that lucky. In her case, her family is almost evenly split between those who believe and would heed a call out and those who don't. That part is kind of sad.

I can send you my address and I'll sign it for you. Oh wait... you mean signed by Julie... :ymblushing:

By the way, I've never said this on the forum, but I also believe Julie Rowe is telling the truth.

Has anyone read Suzanne Freeman's book Through the window of Heaven, it sounds alot like VOG but also validates Julie's, they are very interesting reads. :)

Haven't heard of it before but I'll have to give it a look. I've also heard a bit about Sarah Menet but not enough to speak intelligently about her or her experiences. I've heard it said that she has seen similar things but I'm not sure how accurate that is.

I can't wait for this Chicago event to be over so that you'll be ready to focus on a date for Orem. ;) I check your website often and will keep on peeking, there are several of us anxiously awaiting that one! :)
Ps, congrats on the progress!

Rich in detail during times of tribulation.
Kind of had a Hunger Games feel to it.
Triumphant return of lost tribes to safely escort worthy Saints to Zion.

Great stuff.

I understand that tomorrow is the first day of the shemita for 2014/2015, and it is also the 10 year anniversary of Julie's NDE. Any thoughts?

Hi, unless I'm mistaken, I thought her NDE was on Sep 28?

Thank you for your encouraging words.

This Chicago event must be pretty important because the opposition has intensified the closer we get to it. Looking forward to seeing some of you there.

Actually the Chicago event is not what is keeping me from planning the date for Orem and other events.

Have some big things happening in my private life in October, plus the Lord has been very specific that I am to finish writing the book before I take on anything else.

So....should have a much better idea about the Orem trip and other important details come the second or third week of October.

Thanks for your patience.

I will update the website as soon as I know more, but that is not likely to happen until at least Oct. 10-15th time frame.

Thanks Sis. Rowe! Glad to hear steady progress is being made on the new book! :)

For my own part, I have found the same to be true: whatever is most important for my salvation requires the greatest degree of sacrifice. It's not called a "furnace of affliction" because furnaces are fun to play around in. We go through them to come out better/purified/ready on the other side.

Would that we all had the courage to fight such battles!

I am happy to report that the initial rough draft of "The Time is Now" is finally finished (not bad right? It's been less than four weeks...and has only been accomplished because of many tender mercies and divine intervention)

There are 17 Chapters plus an Appendix.

Now I can focus on getting ready to leave for Chicago tomorrow...

Please pray for me. I am going to need it. Going to Chicago. Need I say more???
