Hiya folks!

Post by iWriteStuff »

New guy here, hailing from Aurora, CO. Googled my way on to this site while doing some research on NDEs and liked what I saw. Also looking for suggestions on reasonable ways to acquire a year's supply of food storage muy pronto style.

Husband, father of two, accountant, and certified pistol instructor. Life is good.

Welcome! Be ready for some diverse point of view around here. It keeps things interesting, because how much fun would it be if we all thought alike?

Welcome brother!

Have you tried freezedryguy.com or mypatriotsupply.com? I also get the best deals from eBay so check there as well. You can find great deals on 72 hour food supply kits. ;)

Army - I have not! But I'll start looking there. Awfully good advice. What kind of deals do you find on eBay?

My wife and I got our year's supply of food storage from the LDS Church: http://store.lds.org/webapp/wcs/stores/ ... _N_image_0

They charge just $3 for shipping!

There are some things like powdered milk, hot cocoa mix, freeze dried carrots and onions, fruit drink mix, potato pearls, and pancake mix that they don't offer online that you can get at your local home storage center.

Here's a handy food storage calculator: http://www.thefoodguys.com/foodcalc.html
