Hello all,
My name is Tom, but my username is "mot". When I was in kindergarten, I would write my name starting with the "T" but go right to left. So, when written, my name would appear as Mot. Hence my lifelong nickname. I have been a reader of the forum for a while now and have enjoyed the discussions and different points of view. I am ready to join in.
I am lifelong LDS and in the past few years my spiritual world has become completely opened up with the concepts of Baptism of Fire, Calling and Election Made Sure and the Second Comforter. I am grateful that the Lord deemed that I might be ready for more and has been teaching me through the spirit and prompting me to read the scriptures more carefully and some books that have helped me. I remember thinking several times "I have been a member of the Church all my life, how did I never hear about these things?" I know the Lord is leading and prompting me to seek these blessings and I am striving to receive my Baptism of Fire.
I just wanted to introduce myself and tell you I have enjoyed the discussions so far. I have also been reading the blogs of many of you as well. Above all the scriptures are my guide. I am amazed at the patterns that I am starting to see emerge as I am studying them through the lens of Zion (as John Pontius helped me understand).
So in short, Hello!
I have been looking for a while
