Hi,
I was introduced to this forum by Tim Malone's blog.
I have my own blog called Sacred Things at http://roylbarrus.wordpress.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I am a father of 2 and a grand father of 5.
The 3 things I want most in this life:
1. To receive Jesus Christ while in the flesh.
2. To help my family experience the same.
3. To encourage and guide as many of Father's children who are searching for the truth back into His presence.
While doing the above I enjoy the wonders and beauty of God's creation.
I love horses, fishing (especially fly fishing), hiking and exploring with my children and grandchildren.
In spite of my sinful nature I have been blessed with the gifts of the spirit.
I have experienced visions and dreams and the interpretation of each from a loving Father.
I have been filled with the spirit following mighty prayer.
I have been led, protected, comforted and taught by the power of the Holy Ghost.
Most recently I have had Christ's love poured out upon me until I knew of his love and acceptance of my sacrifices and His willingness to fulfill my deepest desires.
Through the veil I have received a commission from Christ, with a promise that I as I fulfill that commission I can receive the sure sign. I have experienced many of the blessings of election by Christ and the ministering of angels and hope to experience all the blessings of this election into the assembly of the church of the first born.
Through the ministering of angels I am having my understanding and beliefs altered and ratified by the teachings of the Book of Mormon and the teachings of Joseph Smith.
I am working toward and waiting on Christ to personally provide His witness to me in the flesh.
I have come to this forum to explore if there is anything that might help accelerate my efforts and understanding.
I know there is still much for me to learn.
