Hi, folks!
I thought I would drop a line and say hello to you all. I'm just a humble gardener at heart living in a retirement community here in SLC, the sin city of Utah. My garden is now a community garden I spend some time at every week since they don't take kindly to me tearing up the grass out front here at the condos, but in the good old days I kept a garden out in back of my house whenever I could manage it. I can't call myself a green thumb, more a yellowish/green thumb. I could get things to grow, but I never did get things to thrive like some do. Doesn't stop me from trying, though. There is something about digging up rich black dirt that is good for the soul. Therapeutic, some say.
I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. He makes the plants grow. It never ceases to amaze me how I put a tiny seed into the ground and he makes something far better of it. Worked on me, too. Not sure how it worked on a stubborn old @#!!$#!% like myself, but it did.
