transfer from lds.net

Post by VaderOrlag »

Hey, I am a transfer from lds.net. I moved because I simply can't find a way to log in there anymore. I joined as a way to surround myself with more LDS people as at the time I was a fresh convert and felt it was a good idea. I have since discovered that it is easier and more relaxing to be able to chat with people who share my faith. I am still real new to the church still and like forums as a chance to learn.

I am happy to share anything additional about myself as it pertains to the church (conversion story etc...) Thanks for allowing me here!

Welcome! I used to frequent lds.net consistently and was a head mod for a while. I seldom post there anymore, especially since they changed everything and was a real pain to log in. Once in a while, I find a worthwhile discussion, but it is a decent social forum for those who want a more social environment.

That was the biggest problem I had was logging in. I am not the brightest crayon in the box and could not solve that puzzle! Oh well, I think I will enjoy the company here much more.

Welcome. That's why I'm here also, to learn more. I can't log on to the other one either.

Yeah, I had to keep redoing the forgotten password trick and the captchas were hard to read every time. Then I had to copy and paste something or other. Pain in the butt. Anyway, we're a diverse bunch here, but we mean well.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am not too worried about diversity. It makes for more interesting topics and conversations!
