Hello, My People!

Post by Green Rose »

Hiya,

I'm a Utahn by transplant, meaning I was born and raised back East and found my way to "Zion" as an adult. Georgia is what I think of as home away from Home though. I'm a happy wife of many years to an amazing husband and we have four kidlets. Is that TMI? I don't know. Those are the things I enjoy learning about others. I love to share and I love to write (A LOT) and and I love to read and I love to be uplifting cause it just doesn't make anything better to be a pooper. Ya only wind up being stinky. =)) (There should be a 'that stinks' smilie.)

As you might can tell, I love a lot. And I believe the World could use more Love. :ymhug: In between trying to love everything, I'm also a nontraditional college student, which simply means I waited a lot of years to experience "higher learning." It's made life crazy busy, but the Fam is super supportive and I couldn't do it without them. (English: Creative Writing and Psychology for the morbidly curious.) And in case you couldn't tell, I also love roses @};- and anything GREEN. :D

Since last summer I've been on a journey of spiritual higher learning when I was introduced to the Mendenhall's books and those by Denver Snuffer, which led me here when I did a search one day. [EDIT: I cannot believe I forgot to include the writings of John Pontius!!! Yes, him as well.] The learning and paradigm busting hasn't stopped yet. I'll admit, some days have been downright challenging as I learn how to see Life from different perspectives and allow myself to be Changed without letting go of my sanity :-\ and faith completely. :-o But I know my Heavenly Father and my Savior Love Me. Everything else will fit into place around that eventually. Life is still beautiful. And I. Am. Blessed. :)

Hi Lori!

Welcome to the forum! I look forward to your posts. You should venture over to the Heavenly Gift area where you might have some things in common to discuss there. :)

Thanks for the intro!

Jules (who also loves green)

I've never seen a Green Rose before - but you're certainly welcomed!

Thanks for the warm and friendly, y'all. Green, is there any other color??? I've never seen a green rose in this world either, but I am convinced it exists elsewhere, and I look forward to seeing a bevy of them one day. Same goes for blue roses. :)

I'm still learning how to wiggle around in this vastitutde known as LDSFF. I do feel like a microbe wobbling about in an enormous petri dish, just exploring this and that while the big alien scientists watch. I'll soon enough wobble into the different nooks and crannies. Thanks again for welcoming me. :)

Welcome! I love roses (any flower really) and love the color green, though blue is my favorite. Did you know that most fruit trees are close relatives of roses?
Anyway, there are actual natural green roses

Thank you for pointing that out, SmallFarm. I did not know about that green rose...with no petals. It is a bit anti-climatic to see this. And that statement "all flowers are really only modified leaves." :(( Whoa. I'm really grateful they developed petals. I think I'll hang on to my longing to see a 'traditional' looking green rose though. ;)
