A 108 year old, well respected, rabbi has revealed the name of the messiah, in a note left to be read one year after his death. The name is reported to be Jesus. Maybe the rabbi was seeing jesus and also the davidic servant ....they seem so close in mission? What do u think thomas since u seem to know a lot about avraham gileadi works? Maybe this would explain why he saw messiah here now and also yet not here....as in jesus and david.

It's hard to say. I think this is happening to help soften the hearts of the Jewish people. Scripture says, The Jews will be converted, in one day, by the messiah himself. They will be close to being wiped out with enemies on all sides and Christ will come to their rescue. I believe they have to be ready for Christ. They will have to be spritually prepared. Just as when Christ came to the Nephites, only those who were on a higher spritual level survived the destruction that preceded the event. That left a group that were able to bear his presense. There has to be some acceptance of his word, among the Jews before his coming, IMO.
