Regarding recent threads on the BoA and BoM origins, the thought came to mind, 'God Doesn't Do Giftwrap'
His messages to us seem to be wrapped and surrounded in ugliness, controversy etc. He seems to be consistent in telling us to look beyond what you see, but look to the message. His greatest message came packaged like this, "...he hath no form or comeliness; and when we shall see him, there in no beauty that we should deisre him." He was accused of being a glutton and a drunkard.
Other messangers walked around naked, were drunk, were wild men in the wilderness. Sounds like a typical homeless in my area.
I'm no expert, but I'm sure the origins of the OT, NT can be just as controversial to those in the know. There are a lot of very smart and articulate unbelievers out there.
When I see messages wrapped in beautiful, seemless giftwrap, with the glitter and the pomp, THAT is a sign to me that God probably did not have anything to do with it.
Just a thought.
Mormon 9:27 - O then despise not, and wonder not, but hearken unto the words of the Lord, and ask the Father in the name of Jesus for what things soever ye shall stand in need. Doubt not, but be believing, and begin as in times of old, and come unto the Lord with all your heart, and work out your own salvation with fear and trembling before him.

What a great thought the lord has blessed you with. Really opens up a different view.
