It’s great go for hikes\kayak in the mountains/deserts/seas - despite hot and cold enjoy the planet. The people are crazy that is a prob. But once one has a resurrected body even through it has almost no glory - one no longer feels pain or can be intimidated.
God is a loving God to all of his children, when Brigham Young had a vision of the telestrial kingdom it was such a great place he wished to die and go there.

Re: You a Savior?
All I know is that we will be assigned according to our hearts desires for where our desires are is where our heaven will be. Our desires usually determine which actions we take and what level of Faith we attain to. Welcome to the forum Hippophibia. I appreciate your posts. I do like the question Simeon asked as I think its a good point and good question to ask ourselves in order to determine what our hearts desires are. I appreciate your humble approach hipp. As for me, I desire nothing less than to be living in the presence of my Father and Mother in Heaven and to receive all that THEY desire for me to receive. I do not want to be resurrected in a telestial Kingdom such as this world in the next phase of life. The only way/reason I wish to come down to such a world as this would be to sacrifice for others and only if it is what HF and Mother would want me to do. Even then, they might REALLY need to convince me. ;) lol

Ah, see I think this is where some of us may differ in our views and desires. Because some of us beleive this IS the telestial Kingdom. Although, I do think even this telestial world is a bit unique among telestial worlds in its extreme wickedness.

Only in the highest order of the celestial world do people live as families (husband and wife), all other spheres we live as individuals even in the celestial kingdom. Yip this is by no means a sanctified telestrial kingdom.

Re: You a Savior?
I have herad this vision before. I am beginning to wonder if he really saw the TEL kingdom or if he say another world that he THOUGHT was the tel kingdom but it was not. Also there are different degrees of the TEL, It may have been possible he saw "a better portion of that world" or something. I don't know. That quote never made sense to me for the past year or so. i also thought it was joseph who said that? Which shows how confused I am about that quoteAshleyB wrote:Hippophibia wrote:It’s great go for hikes\kayak in the mountains/deserts/seas - despite hot and cold enjoy the planet. Re: You a Savior?
Our telestial world is a world of mortals. We have the veil, we have Christ to visit us. The telestial world Joseph saw in his vision was a telestial kingdom of glory, no mortals, no veil. They even receive visitors from the terrestial world to do their hometeaching. So here we have at least two different kinds of telestial kingdoms. I also think there is something to what Ashley said. So even the mortal telestial kingsoms do differ.TZONE wrote:I have herad this vision before. The telestial world of glory is way more desireable than the telestial world of mortals.

I do understand your feelings, I actually had the same thoughts as you.. But there is a lesson I learned.
The greates joy for any soul is to enter the rest of the Lord, which rest is the fullnes of his glory. Unless we enter this rest, our souls will always be restless, and our souls will always be restless because we will remember that we have not desired more, that we have wasted our time here on earth.
Yes, out of our earthly view we like certain things, and we believe doing these things eternaly will define happiness.. But this is only how we feel now.. We do err.. It is important that we know what true happiness means NOW...
True happiness is to attain the fullness of his glory.
