One in six Americans are on food stamps. Most of the food stamp recipients are dependent and are ina state of learned helplessness. A whopping $80 billion was spent on the program last year, but a significant cut will go into effect.

On November 1, food stamp payments will decrease $36 per month for a family of four. This will prove to catastrophic for many poor families because each food stamp household receives an average of $272 per month.

On the Fox Business channel, anchor Neil Cavuto reported that the $80 million will go towards protecting government buildings from rioting American citizens. Cavuto proclaimed that, This could be all Hell breaks loose day. Actually, I believe that the danger date will not be November 1st. The damage being done to the poor needs time to coalesce. However, by mid-November, we will have some definitive answers as to whether this reckless action by the Obama administration will be the cause of widespread rioting and violence. Interesting to note that this event coincides with the timing of the Grid Ex II drill in which a simulated take down of the grid will occur beginning on November 13th. This coincidence opens a lot of possibilities.

Food stamp recipients face a massive benefit cut set to kick in when stimulus funds expire Friday. The nationwide cut is equivalent to about 16 meals a month for a family of three, according to a Center on Budget and Policy Priorities analysis using the USDA’s Thrifty Food Plan.

This will not sit well with those food stamp recipients. Wonder what the results will be. How will Obama Admin. spin this? (Is it still Georeg Bush's fault?) And how will Jay Carney answer the critics? He's awfully good at skirting issues.

Thank goodness I don’t live in a big city full of Owebowma deadbeats. Tell them to eat their Owebowma phone, which all hard working taxpayers like myself paid for.

One of those times where reality is more absurd than fiction. Cutting entitlement programs to beef up riot protection. I guess we're past the point of food and circuses.

An article I just read it states that even with the cuts, people will still have an average of $1.40 to spend on each meal. Many of my meals don't cost that much and I can afford to pay more if I wanted. We are a spoiled people!

We need to learn to give freely without concern for ourselves. The time will soon come that we will be unable to provide for our families. If we have learned to give freely, depending solely on the Lord to provide for us, then he will provide for us. But if we continue to selfishly cling to the things we have in doubt and fear for the future, then we will lose even the things that we do have.

We are all, helpless beggars before God, depending on God for the very air we breathe. Please God, grant me air this day that I might live another day. I am helpless and do not know how to make some air for myself. If you take away the air you provide for me , I will perish. Thank you dear God.
