UNITED we stand, divided....

Everyone on this forum believes in God the Father and Jesus Christ, yes??
Whether, you are brethrenite, snufferite, FLDS, TLC, AUB, or the dozen other break offs of LDS, everyone here believes Joseph Smith was truly called of God, looked into heaven, saw God the Father and His son, and was a faithful servant. He saw things we can't even pretend to imagine.
Everyone here believes Joseph Smith was lead by an angel of God to find the golden plates among other things, and translated them through a gift of heaven.
We all believe that Joseph Smith wanted to bring about the Lord's true doctrine and establish the Lord's church.
OK, Leave it at that! This shouldn't be a quest to be more right than the other guy, this should be a quest to find absolute truth!
Joseph gave us so many wonderful things to study and ponder about. He pointed us in the right direction. So why fight about other things when there's still so much to learn based on what Joseph said, such as:

Seerrriously good stuff here!But meddle not with any man for his religion, for no man is authorized to take away life in consequence of religion. All laws and government ought to tolerate and permit every man to enjoy his religion, whether right or wrong. There is no law in the heart of God that would allow anyone to interfere with the rights of man. Every man has a right to be a false prophet, as well as a true prophet.

All sins and all blasphemies—every transgression that man may be guilty of—shall be forgiven in this world or the world to come, except one—the sin against the Holy Ghost. There is a provision for salvation for him, either in this world or in the world of spirits which is to me. Hence, God has made a provision that the spirits of our friends and every spirit in that eternal world can be ferreted out and saved, unless he has committed that unpardonable sin which can’t be remitted to him, whether in this world or in the world of spirits.
That is HUGE!! Not only does it prove the tender mercies of Father, but doesn't that make you want to reach out to others? You should NEVER belittle, mock, tear down, or send hate mail to your brethren who are trying to find their Lord and Savior in their OWN WAY. Just because it's not the same as YOUR Christ or YOUR church or YOUR Joseph Smith, doesn't mean it's more wrong or more right. If God is leading them that direction and He is leading you on a separate journey, so be it! Focus on discussing the beliefs you DO have in common.every man who has got a friend in the eternal world can save him, unless he has committed the unpardonable sin. You can save any man who has not committed the unpardonable sin. So you see how far you can be a savior

No one on THIS forum would EVER say that, right??!Paul says there are Gods many and Lords many. I want to set it forth in a plain and simple manner; but to us there is but one God -- that is pertaining to us; and he is in all and through all. But if Joseph Smith says there are Gods many and Lords many, they cry, "Away with him! Crucify him! Crucify him!"
