Those women bring to mind the term "useful idiots". The doctrine is clear and every church member should already have a good understanding of priesthood. It has nothing to do with power; it has everything to do with the different roles men and women play in the Lord's plan.

The OP mentioned these were "active LDS"? What does that mean in the context of this issue? Active in that they are active in attendance? Active in that they fulfill their callings? Active in that they have strong testimonies in the Gospel? Active in that they sustain their leaders? Or, does it mean they are LDS and they are political activists?

Feminism is a very dangerous thing to espouse and it has entered the threshold of our church. I hope these women understand who created feminism. This is basically what they are trying to do, to be equal and have what men have. This is dangerous! If this women are truly active they should know that women have different roles than men and we are all equal in the sight of God. It's wicked to espouse this Feminist principle, pretty soon, they will attempt something else that is totally against God's doctrine.

They let lots of non member males in.
There were lots of empty seats.
They were still denied entry.
It has NOTHING to do with Priesthood.
It is a __________ thing.
Its no different than stopping blacks from entering.
Maybe this was one of Elder Bednar's "mistakes were made" references.
It really is misogyny. Or hate. Or fear.
We have so far to go.
I've seen sisters at the local center watch it.
Do we send them out too when they arrive this Saturday night to watch it?
I mean that's what Jesus would do right?
I mean his prophets just did that

I remember when the Seattle had its open house before dedication that some women were there from some group saying it was made up of Mormon women for ERA. Unlike most members who just ignored them, kind of a Mormon trait of denial, I waked up and engaged them in a friendly conversation. I wanted to at least know their motives. Well, at least I found out that none of the three women there with signs were even LDS! So whenever I see something about 200 "active LDS women" at a priesthood conference, or a headline about Mormons protesting for gay marriage, I guess I am a bit cynical as to how active they are, or even if they are Mormons in the first place.
