We should be paying specific attention to this. I grew up on raw milk, but it was all from our own cow. People who are selling raw milk 3rd person, cannot guarantee the milk they sell is safe, and for that reason, if the raw milk your drinking is not from your own cow or goat, beware! Some bad diseases come from sick cows! The dairy just a few hundred yards from my cabin refuses to sell raw milk!

Almost every town, city, state in the nation has 20% of it's population permanently handicapped and unable to function without assistance. It's in the statistical report in the demographics of each town, city and county. Most are institutionalized, so the problem doesn't seem as prevalent. Autoimmune diseases are rampant, and become more so with inadequate nutrition.
Imagine your local population after a week in the absence of diabetic insulin, birth control pills, thyroid medications, antidepressants, coffee, sodas... you get the idea.

Yes and no - things are going to get a lot worse and different types of plagues that you are talking about.

But excellent point about meds> The three most prescribed drugs in Australia are pill (birth control), antibiotics and antidepressants (I am sure the US is the same). When theses stop disease will spread rabidly and all the the depressed will turn into virtual zombies. I am sure half the members of the forum take antidepressants and are going to me, it is either cling to the word of God or get depressed.

As my work college told me the yesterday with all this issues about fair treatment in the work place they have decided to be fair to everyone, so they are going to hate everybody equally and treat them equally bad. That is my new motto for this forum.

Add to this the estimated 25% of all the western population that will have serious cancer; the huge numbers who die of heart disease; the many, many in the first world who have obesity-related health problems. I'm not sure why so many people are so unwilling to see events currently happening as fulfillment of prophecy. There are many, many world events and historical events that perfectly match descriptions by Isaiah, John, and other prophets. I think we just figure if it is happening and doesn't really seem "out of the ordinary" to us, it must not be what the prophets foresaw. But imagine seeing it from their perspective. In a world where most people who died were dying of hunger-related causes, malnutrition caused disease, suddenly they see a world where people are so overfed and bloated they are dying of the chronic diseases we see today. LeGrand Richards once taught that the prophets' descriptions of beasts with fire coming out of them could well have been descriptions of trains, planes, and automobiles--and tanks and armored equipment. They had absolutely no frame of reference for such things, and did the best they could to put it down and tell us what to watch for. So today's epidemics from ebola to heart disease to diabetes and cancer could very well be the prophesied pandemics!

You are right of course, our life styles are killing us just as much, every year when I watch the news in the US of the first snow storms there are always reports of death by heart attach while shoveling snow!
The western population demographics are much older than than most other countries - so we are much more reliant on meds - when that stops. scriptural exclamations like "being swept away" come to mind .

Do you have any idea how many of us are getting sick and dying from all of the manipulated and chemically altered foods (including milk) that we are being fed? Do you think perhaps it is in the grocerss and pharmas better interest to scare us away from anything and everything pure and healthy and in its most natural state? (The way God made it) Just Something To think about..

Like I said, I grew up on raw milk! But we took care of our cows, if we suspected a problem we called the vet! We bought our cows from the grade A dairy down the street. We lived on 7 1/2 acres, grew our own groceries, raised our own pigs, chickens and rabbits. I grew up in the middle of Utah's pheasant country and did a lot of duck and rabbit hunting, shot and ate a lot of deer, and-----took my shots!

I grew up on raw milk too, and we made our own butter. We always had a quarter of a beef in our freezer. We only had the best meat. Fresh, right off of the vine water melons, cantaloupe, honeydew, grapes, all kinds of vegetables fresh from the field, and any kind of citrus right off the tree. We ate very well. Animal waste was fertilizer, and we didn't get ecoli from it . How can that be?

I realize you can get diseases from sick cows, but from healthy cows, it is a blessing.

Pasteurization of milk does not add chemicals to the milk and has no detrimental affect. But i see it is quit a hotly debated topic - we live in a very different world to that of +50 years ago. There is a lot of human to animal disease transfer and more human - animal interactions e.g. due to vast amounts of antibiotics people take - germs and virus have mutated and are no longer the same as in days gone by. Cows are manged in small areas and very cramped conditions. It would be nice to be in the old days cows wandering around on large paddock and given plenty of space - put would not produce enough milk for the big cities.

We need to be extra vigilant about hygiene and this is what the thread is all about. Ask those guys who got sick from raw milk what they think about raw milk.

Raw milk does not have a natural resistance to bacteria.
