This is gonna go over well-----Ebola is notoriously incurable (and the strain at large its most lethal), it is overwhelming to hear that "Secret Serum Likely Saved Ebola Patients," as we do this morning from Gupta's every-20-minute CNN reports. He writes:

America has a secret serum. It'll be useless here, folk here would rather get ebola than take an injection!

Bodies left in street to rot everyone to scared to touch them - then government doing collection and mass burials -sign of pandemic.
What they don't realize is that most of these viruses are host specific and only can survive in a host that has specific temperature, moisture etc. Once a person dies a few hours (±12 will have to check) the body is no longer contagious and can be easily moved and disposed off.

Ebola Epidemic Most Likely Much Larger Than Reported, W.H.O. Says
GENEVA — West Africa’s deadly Ebola epidemic is probably much worse than the world realizes, with health centers on the front lines warning that the actual numbers of deaths and illnesses are significantly higher than the official estimates, the World Health Organization said.
Sick kid, no help available
So far, 2,127 cases of the disease and 1,145 deaths have been reported in four nations — Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone — the W.H.O announced Friday. But the organization has also warned that
the actual number is almost certainly higher, perhaps by a very considerable margin.
“Staff at the outbreak sites see evidence that the numbers of reported cases and deaths vastly underestimate the magnitude of the outbreak,” the group said in a statement on Thursday.

The epidemic is still growing faster than efforts to keep up with it, and it will take months before governments and health workers in the region can get the upper hand, Joanne Liu, the president of Doctors Without Borders, said on Friday, calling conditions on the ground “like a war.”

I don't think it can be contained anymore, - a lot of these towns infection started with just one individual. Now have multiple individuals infected, health care is overrun and many too scared to go to hospital due to stigma and fear of getting infected from others. The containment tent areas are filled faster than what they can erect new ones.

The head of Health Workers Association of Liberia, George Williams, said the unit had housed 29 patients who were receiving preliminary treatment before being taken to hospital.
"Of the 29 patients, 17 fled last night. Nine died four days ago and three others were taken by force by their relatives," he said. "They had all tested positive for Ebola."
The AP news agency quoted the assistant health minister, Tolbert Nyenswah, as saying residents of West Point were angry that patients had been brought from other parts of the capital to the centre.
The agency reported that bloodstained sheets and mattresses were taken. Ebola is transmitted by bodily fluids.
