Oops, just changed mine again.

Okay, I had a different picture of you in my head! You look really young. I will now view your posts and wisdom differently. ;)
I looked like a 12 year old in high school. At least that's what my sister told me once. After looking at some old pictures, yeah..I did. :ymblushing:

Real name is Matt, I think I tried to register it when I first joined the forums, but it was taken. I like my username now, but I'll add a signature line and real pic. I agree it may serve to hopefully tamp down some of the contention.

I have grown to like Gad... it is almost another name for me. I have my real name in my sig line and I went ahead and updated my avatar to a photo of me.

Gad, I'll see your Star Trek costume and raise you a Star Wars one.

Nice! I have more recent pics of a Star Trek costume as well as a Doctor Who one. I always wanted storm trooper armor!

Gad, I don't do the costuming thing anymore. I have spent literally thousands on screen accurate replicas, props, etc. I custom built a Jango Fett for $2G. I sold it and got my money back, though. It was hard letting it go, but I realized that I had gone over the edge with the hobby. I have zero regrets today. In any case, here are some other costumes that made/put together for past Halloween years. I'm a nerd at heart.
Anyway, there. I've put myself out there. :ymcowboy:

Tell your ten year old that I sold/gave away/threw away almost all of my Star Wars collection. Man I was such an idolater! I do still have my original Kenner R2D2 and C3P0 figures from 1977, though. Sentimental value, I suppose. They just sit on my shelf collecting dust.

My older boys loved looking at these and hearing about Jango Fett! Oldest wants a $500 Master Chief costume for Halloween. I'm like, "I thought you were going to be a cardbox box. Let's go back to that idea!"

Ok, here's the Jango Fett I built and wore at charity events.
I was part of a costuming group/forum and this was my avatar:
Yeah...it can be an expensive hobby. I almost decided to build an Ironman costume a couple years ago, but I'm over all that.

Your son can make his own Master Chief from pepakura patterns. It's very time consuming, but he could save money doing it himself. He can Google it.

Why not add employment status too.
I look forward to seeing many go from employed to "well experienced professional looking for new challenge".
Maybe more of you will also be typing "I am_no longer_a Mormon."
Advice. DON'T use your name, or location.
And continually lay a false trail as to everything about you.
Don't think I am kidding either

Those are way rad, man. My favorite part of SDCC is people watching all the cosplayers.
