Hi Mary! Cute pic!

I finally saw this thread and I'll play. My new avatar is me. Kinda hard to choose a pic cuz I feel like I look different in every photo. Also there aren't many pics with me alone - usually I have kids clinging! Anyway -- this pic was taken in the Spring. I'm now 6 months pregnant with #6 and looking a bit rounder

Orson Scott Card has a website with the name Ornery in it, something like "Ornery American"? Anyway, he explains that the word "ornery" began as the word "ordinary" but became a kind of corrupted version in which people would insult each other or themselves by saying they were just "ornery" as opposed being more than ordinary...extraordinary, or elite, or whatever. He uses it for both meanings in the blog.
