I had my real picture on here at least once. Someone asked me to change my avatar. :)) (I'm definitely not "smokin' hot" like Jules. :)) )
I used to go under my real 1st name pretty much everywhere I posted (and still do on some blogs). This was the 2nd place I didn't (and the 2nd place I used this moniker).
We had another thread some time back where this topic came up. Some people changed their usernames because of it.

Hey, it's an elite club. What can I say? You either submit to the rule or you can't join.
Bonus praise for:
First name as username.
First and last name in your signature line.
City and State in your profile.
City and state (or similar) in your signature line.
Ward and Stake in your signature line (not recommended, but laudable).
Real photo of yourself as your avatar.

Way ahead of you (and also on my blog). I have considered shortening my handle to just marc, but I'm just fine as is.

My name is Jon. I currently live in my parents' basement in West Jordan. At the end of this week we (my wife, baby, and I) are finally going to move out - we are moving to Sandy.
I might switch my profile picture to an actual photo of my ugly mug, but for now I like using the Panama temple

I use a nickname that my family (probably) and friends know me by. So they could figure it out very easily.

Daryl,
Several times yesterday I had the impulse to put my name on my ldsff account. I felt reluctant and was dragging my feet but decided I better ask the Lord about it last night. The answer was 'do it.' So I come here this morning and find your thread right away.
