To further address your post, keep the faith, you don't have to limit it to your offerings to the church. I was with someone "shopping" somewhere fancy (I really didn't want to be there) and there were people asking for money/help. I freely helped, but this someone didn't want to saying it should be done through proper channels (tithes, offerings, etc). Without lessening the faith or light in which this person thinks (because we are all still progressing, hopefully), I cannot completely agree. Why? Because my paying an offering next week or the week after, etc, does no service to the person at that moment who needs help now. To turn someone away while justifying myself because I "gave at the office" is not who I am--anymore. I just needed to make that clarification. I feel very uncomfortable sharing this particular experience but it needs to be said, so please be charitable in your replies as this is very sensitive to me, as I am not trying to demean or devalue this person or in any way elevate myself in any degree.

20 Therefore remember, O man, for all thy doings thou shalt be brought into judgment.

21 Wherefore, if ye have sought to do wickedly in the days of your probation, then ye are found unclean before the judgment-seat of God; and no unclean thing can dwell with God; wherefore, ye must be cast off forever.

22 And the Holy Ghost giveth authority that I should speak these things, and deny them not.
