Leftists And So-Called Christian Leaders Embrace Abortion As 'Sacred'
In a Feb. 5 article in The Washington Post, Rev. Kaeley McEvoy at Westmoreland Congregational United Church of Christ in Bethesda, Md., discussed her thinking on abortion. When she and her boyfriend got pregnant together, the very first place they went was a cathedral to pray — but not for grace to persevere through an unplanned pregnancy. No, McEvoy actually called a doctor’s office while inside the place of worship to schedule an abortion. When other visitors to the cathedral tried to enter a small chapel where McEvoy was on the phone, the boyfriend turned them away, declaring: “Something holy is happening here.”
Among the pro-abortion crowd, abortion is increasingly no longer described as a necessary evil, but holy. The Post suggested McEvoy views it as a “social and theological good.” In a November sermon, McEvoy told her congregation that she “never felt more known and heard and loved by God than when I entered the doors of a Planned Parenthood.” At a January event addressing a group of abortion access activists meeting in a D.C. church, she reiterated: “Something holy is happening here, friends.”
McEvoy is not alone among clerics in this sentiment about abortion. Presbyterian minister Rebecca Todd Peters in an October USA Today op-ed wrote: “I did not make my abortion decisions despite my Christian identity and faith, but rather because of it.” Rabbi Rachael Pass in a September article claimed her abortion during rabbinical school was a “blessing” and a “sacred choice.” Everything about her experience, Pass observed, from “the timing of the accidental conception to the decision and procedure itself was brimming with my Jewish practice, learning and living.”

Special Counsel: Democrats Spied On Trump While He Was President
Enemies of Donald Trump surveilled the internet traffic at Trump Tower, at his New York City apartment building, and later at the executive office of the president of the United States, then fed disinformation about that traffic to intelligence agencies hoping to frame Trump as a Russia-connected stooge.
A tangential filing on Friday in the criminal case against former Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann revealed these new details uncovered by Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation. The revelation came in the middle of a 13-page motion Durham’s prosecutors filed in the criminal case against Sussmann. The special counsel’s office charged Sussmann in September 2021, in a one-count indictment of lying to James Baker during a meeting Sussmann had with the then-FBI general counsel in the weeks leading up to the 2016 election.

"What F*cking Research? We Are the F*cking Research" - Grieving Widow Goes Off on Social Media After Husband Died with Myocarditis
“Brandon did not have covid. His work supplied rapid tests and we had done several throughout summer and fall. The virus that killed him was likely the mRNA vaccine,” said Brandon’s wife, Chantelle Watt.
“Any medical professional I have spoken to and who has looked into this further has been quick to disregard the vaccine as the cause as “the research” shows myocarditis cases only happening within two weeks of an administered dose. First off, what f*cking research? We ARE the f*cking research,” she added.

'We've known how to cure COVID since about March of 2020': Dr. Robert Malone | Just The News
COVID-19 mask mandates were never necessary, says Dr. Robert Malone.
"We've known how to cure COVID since about March of 2020," the mRNA-vaccine-pioneer-turned-critic told "Just the News, Not Noise" TV show cohosts John Solomon and Amanda Head.
The sudden scramble two years later by democratic governors to lift mask mandates "is a clear pivot consequent to their horrible polling numbers," Malone said. "It's exactly what I predicted when people were asking me, 'How will we know when this thing is over?' I've said, 'Well, you'll know it because they'll all start giving awards to each other and claiming that they're the ones that are responsible for curing it.'"

Criticism mounts as 55 federal agencies track COVID vaccine religious exemption requests | Just The News
Fifty-five federal agencies have issued rule changes to track employees and others who request religious exemptions for the COVID-19 vaccine.
Critics of the tracking say the practice is discriminatory against people of faith.
Members of Congress also are weighing in, asking President Joe Biden to halt religious exemption tracking policies. One lawmaker introduced legislation to prohibit the practice.
“The federal government has no business to create a database of people who file religious exemptions,” Liberty Counsel’s founder and chairman Mat Staver told The Center Square last month after it was initially reported that one federal agency was logging the exemptipn requests. “The only possible purpose this could have, is to first identity and then to discriminate against people of faith. Knowing who files for religious exemptions serves no legitimate or lawful purpose.”

I just hope and pray that the fearsome Latinx beast has not reared zer fearsome head again to terrorize the remaining Wise Latinos and Latinas.

Crypto: Fraudsters use robocalls to drain accounts
The Apgars, who are both Maryland-based obstetricians, began investing in cryptocurrency several years ago. By December, their account had grown to about $106,000, mainly held in bitcoin. Like millions of investors across the country, their account is with Coinbase, the country's largest cryptocurrency platform.
When Apgar picked up the phone, a female voice said, "Hello, welcome to Coinbase security prevention line. We have detected unauthorized activity due to failed log-in attempt on your account. This was requested from a Canada IP address. If this (is) not you, please press 1, to complete precautions recovering your account." The call lasted just 19 seconds.
Alarmed, Apgar pressed 1.
He said he cannot remember if he manually entered his two-factor authentication code or if it came up automatically on his screen. But what happened in that moment led to his account being locked in less than two minutes. As Apgar has not regained access, he said he assumes the fraudsters stole most if not all of the crypto, but he can't be sure.
"It was just dread and an emptiness of just, 'Oh my gosh, I can't get this back,'" he said.

Congressman echoes Trump’s claim that Clinton aides deserved to die | Republicans | The Guardian
Anti-hate speech activists have condemned the Republican US congressman Jim Jordan for his apparent endorsement of Donald Trump’s declaration that members of Hillary Clinton’s campaign staff should have been executed.
Jordan asserted on Fox & Friends that the former president was “right on target” when he accused Clinton’s aides of spying on him, and that in another time in US history their “crime would have been punishable by death”.
But the position of the Ohio rightwinger and fierce Trump loyalist, who is resisting efforts from a congressional committee to explain his own role in the deadly 6 January Capitol riot that Trump incited, serves only to stoke further the country’s volatile political divisions and promote more violence, the groups say.
“Trump and Jordan are escalating tensions at a time when this country sorely needs healing,” Michael Edison Hayden, senior investigative journalist with the Southern Poverty Law Center’s intelligence project, told the Guardian.

Peter Sloly resigns as Ottawa's police chief as critics denounce his handling of convoy protest | CBC News
Peter Sloly has resigned as Ottawa's police chief and will publicly announce his resignation after the Ottawa Police Services Board meeting today, sources tell CBC News.
The former chief has been criticized over his handling of a truck convoy protest that has caused major disruptions to Ottawa's downtown core.
Sloly's resignation comes as sources tell CBC News he's been accused of bullying and volatile behaviour that has damaged relations with senior leadership and compromised the force's ability to cope with the truck protest.
Multiple sources have told CBC News that Sloly allegedly belittled and berated senior Ottawa Police Service officers in front of their colleagues, and has failed to put forward a solid operations plan to end the crisis.
Sources say he allegedly has come into conflict with members of the OPP and RCMP tasked with assisting the city's law enforcement efforts during the crisis.

Zero Hedge has been under attack over the years for daring to publish articles that go against the fake news media’s narrative.
Now the CIA is accusing Zero Hedge of spreading Kremlin propaganda for publishing articles written by people connected to the Strategic Culture Foundation, a foundation sanctioned by Joe Biden for interfering in the 2020 election.

Illinois High Schoolers Segregated, Shunned For Rejecting Mask Theater
Despite a recent ruling from an Illinois court that Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s statewide mask mandate for students is “null and void,” the school board for District 99, which encompasses part of the southwest Chicago suburbs, is still forcing students to wear masks or risk “consequences” such as segregation, bullying, and a lack of teaching.
Approximately 100 students at DGNHS who chose to go maskless in classrooms beginning last week as a result of the ruling were smeared as a “distraction” by the school and escorted out of their classrooms by security guards into rooms away from masked students and teachers.
“We are at school but not allowed to attend our classes,” one student who spoke at a recent school board meeting said.
“Why are we not allowed to sit silent in the classroom without a piece of paper on our face? We’re losing our right to an education,” another frustrated student said at the same board meeting.

Biden’s Energy Dept.: Misinformation About Climate Change Spreading
The latest narrative in the ongoing claims that policy disagreement amounts of misinformation now includes climate change. Those who do not see weather as an existential threat are spreading misinformation — this time about solar and wind energy.
Taxpayer-funded National Public Radio (NPR) is jumping on the misinformation bandwagon with a story on Tuesday about Biden’s Energy Department and other climate-change promotors warning that opposition to alternative energy is making headway because of people allegedly not telling the truth.
“The spread of misinformation about solar and wind energy is leading some states and counties to restrict or even reject projects,” NPR said in introducing the piece that rejects any criticism of climate change or the radical policies to fight it like the Green New Deal. “The Energy Department calls it a key threat to decarbonizing the grid.”

The CIA Got Caught Spying On Americans Again. Make Them Stop
Nearly a decade ago, Edward Snowden dropped a series of bombshell revelations on the world, chief among them revealing the presence of the PRISM program: a constitutionally dubious surveillance program under which the National Security Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Central Intelligence Agency gather and search through the emails, internet calls, photos, and chats of Americans without obtaining a warrant, usually through the backdoor of America’s major tech companies.
In response, Congress passed the USA Freedom Act in 2015, a bill that amended the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) to ban the bulk collection of Americans’ telephone records and internet metadata under Section 215 of the PATRIOT Act. In its place, Congress authorized more targeted measures subject to transparency, declassification, and reporting requirements.

Why Homeschooling Is The Most Effective Political Resistance
Homeschooling is considered reactionary because of its emphasis on and strengthening of family ties. The liberalization of our culture has come about through the weakening of the traditional family. The family is in the crosshairs; it must be diminished to the point of being a non-factor before the Marxists can declare victory. They are working on it.
Schools, particularly government schools, have been used in the past for the same aims as Marxism. Plato’s ideal republic, with its strict social norms, could only be achieved if children were removed from their homes and mothers at a young age and taught by people who knew the plan. Lycurgus made Sparta the warlike communist city it was by beginning state education at age 7, not allowing children to even return home to eat and sleep. Marx himself states in his “Communist Manifesto” that communism demands and requires “free education for all children in public schools.”

Justice Department sues Missouri over Second Amendment sanctuary law: 'A state cannot simply declare federal laws invalid' - TheBlaze
In June 2021, Missouri Gov. Mike Parson (R) signed House Bill 85 into law, establishing the Second Amendment Preservation Act in Missouri. The law, according to Parson, drew "a line in the sand" and declared the state was committed to rejecting "any attempt by the federal government to circumvent the fundamental right Missourians have to keep and bear arms to protect themselves and their property.”
The law prohibited state and local cooperation with federal officials who attempt to enforce laws, rules, orders, or actions that violate the fundamental Second Amendment rights of state residents and made any person or entity who knowingly deprived Missouri citizens of their right to bear arms liable for redress and monetary damages of $50,000.
