Twitter deleted Breitbart News’ Periscope livestream of a Washington D.C. press conference held on Monday by the group America’s Frontline Doctors and organized and sponsored by the Tea Party Patriots.

Breitbart News recently reported that the Masters of the Universe quickly censored a live stream published by Breitbart News of a press conference held in Washington D.C. by the group America’s Frontline Doctors and organized and sponsored by the Tea Party Patriots. Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) was featured at the event and doctors at the event shared their views on the coronavirus pandemic and the medical community’s treatment of the virus.

Footage of the livestream on Periscope, Twitter’s livestreaming platform, had generated 1 million views before being removed by the site. Footage on Facebook had accumulated over 17 million views within 8 hours and had 185,000 concurrent viewers at the time it was streamed. On YouTube, a clip from the event received 80,000 views before being removed by the platform for “violating YouTube’s Community Guidelines.”

Weekend Rocked by BLM-related Violence; DHS Blasts Democrat Leaders

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf on Sunday defended the federal government’s response to persistent rioting, vandalism, and violence in Portland, criticizing local leaders for continuing to refer to the instigators as “peaceful protesters.”

During an appearance on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Features, Wolf said the protesters seen in Portland are different from the “normal criminal activity” witnessed in places such as Chicago and Kansas City.

“They’re coming armed with rocks, bottles, baseball bats, power tools, commercial grade fireworks, eliciting that violence and targeting their violence on federal courthouses and federal law enforcement officers,” Wolf said of Portland agitators.

Democratic U.S. Rep. Jerry Nadler (N.Y.), chairman of House Judiciary Committee, said Antifa violence in Portland, Oregon, taking place night after night — and documented in numerous videos and news reports — is a "myth."

Journalist Austen Fletcher — better known as @fleccas on Twitter — caught up to Nadler on a Washington, D.C., sidewalk Sunday, and while video rolled asked him, "Do you disavow the violence from Antifa that's happening in Portland right now? There's riots —"

"That's a myth that's being spread only in Washington, D.C.," Nadler replied.

"About Antifa in Portland?" Fletcher asked again.

"Yes," the New York congressman responded.

As the incredible exchange was going down, another person, presumably an aide, stepped into the video frame to whisk Nadler into a waiting vehicle.

"Sir, there's videos everywhere online," Fletcher called out as Nadler departed in silence. "There's fires and riots, they're throwing fireworks at federal officers. DHS is there. Look online. It gets crazy, Mr. Nadler."

Afterward Fletcher remarked, "Yeah, Antifa's a myth in Portland. Meanwhile, the whole city's on fire, and they're trying to burn down the courthouse."

Candace Owens dismantles George Floyd black martyr narrative: 'Racially motivated police brutality is a myth'

'I do not support George Floyd ... as a martyr for black America'

Conservative commentator Candace Owens published a livestream video on Wednesday, decrying the movement for trying to turn George Floyd into a martyr for black America.

The death of Floyd, a victim in a Minneapolis, Minnesota, police killing, spurred on nationwide protests following his May death.

Owens in a Facebook Live video said that she refused to buy into the idea that Floyd should be the impetus for a race relations overhaul in the United States.

"I do not support George Floyd and the media depiction of him as a martyr for black America," she insisted.

Pointing out Floyd's troubled legal history — including a time when he reportedly threatened a pregnant woman with a gun during a violent robbery — Owens explained that she's not defending the officer accused of killing Floyd, but simply refuses to accept the martyr narrative.

"You would be hard-pressed to find, you know, a Jewish person that's had five stints in prison that commits a crime and dies while committing a crime and that the Jewish people champion and demand justice for," she said.

Owens added, "I want to be very clear: What I am saying is not any defense for [accused former police officer] Derek Chauvin. I hope Derek Chauvin gets the justice that he deserves to be implemented upon him, and that the family of George Floyd deserves justice for the way that he died."

'Nobody wants to tell the truth in black America'

Floyd's violent criminal history also included convictions on charges varying from theft with a firearm to drugs.

"He has a rap sheet that was long and was dangerous," Owens said. "He was an example of a violent criminal his entire life, OK? Up until the very last moment."

She insisted, "I am not going to accept the narrative that this is the best the black community has to offer. George Floyd was not an amazing person. I am not going to play a part of the broken black culture that always wants to martyr criminals, to pretend that they were upstanding human beings that just wanted to help society."

The conservative commenter also pointed out that the black community should be ashamed of itself for holding Floyd up as an example.

“We are embarrassing in that regard," she added. "This is why we have a cycle and a toxic culture because nobody wants to tell the truth in black America. It is so easy to be effective it is so easy to ask white people to bow down and apologize and do all these things for us. It is crap."

She concluded, "Racially motivated police brutality is a myth."

A violent mob set fire to a justice center construction site in Seattle, Washington, reports say.

The group of rioters also set fire to a local Starbucks, which is housed on the ground floor of an apartment building.

KIRO-TV reported that "thousands of people" peacefully gathered in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood on Saturday morning in a demonstration of solidarity with Black Lives Matter protests in Portland.

The tenor of the protest quickly change, and began to spiral out of control by afternoon.

Murder of black Trump supporter shot dead in broad daylight sparks call for federal investigation

The street preacher was politically active, sparking the possibility that his murder could be politically motivated.

Bernell Trammell was shot dead in broad daylight on Thursday in Milwaukee. Trammell's death has sparked questions if his "senseless" murder was politically motivated since he was an outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump. The 60-year-old black man was killed in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood on Thursday afternoon.

Around 12:30 p.m., Trammell was shot in front of his shop. Patricia Holland, who lives near the crime scene, said she heard multiple gunshots near Trammell's business, Expressions Journal Publications.

"I seen the ambulance and stuff – the police flying by my house, and I just said, 'Oh my god,'" Holland said. "What happened to him, I mean — it shouldn't happen to anyone. It's a senseless death."

Trammell was known as a "Rasta street preacher," who had a variety of signs near his shop, including quoting Bible verses, promoting Black Lives Matter, supporting President Trump, and a hand-painted sign that read: "THUMBS UP BEFORE GUNS UP!"

"He was a happy person," Holland said of Trammell. "He always talked to everybody that came by basically, say hi and speak to them."

Trammell had Rastafari religious views and was an independent who supported Republicans and Democrats.

"He believed in democracy. He believed in his right to free speech," John Self, who had many philosophical conversations with Trammell over the years, said. "I don't think he ever once tried to convert you or change you. He would just tell you what he thought, he would listen to what you had to think, and then he would respect that."

"He was a kind man," Johnny Schaeffer, who knew Trammell for almost his entire life, told Heavy. "He was a gentle guy. Some people didn't like what he said, but they respected him for the most part, I thought. I'd go down there, people would always say, 'Bernell, hey.' He knew everybody in the neighborhood. I am shocked right now."

"He was a positive guy," blogger Adebisi Agoro, who spoke with Trammell just hours before the shooting, said. "I didn't see him being mean or violent at all toward anybody while he was outside with his signs. He'd be on his bike. I'd see him pretty much daily."

"He's a black elder who didn't deserve to die the way that he did," Reggie Moore, director of Milwaukee's Office of Violence Prevention, told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

A SWAT Team Blew Up This Family’s Home in Pursuit of a Suspect Who Wasn’t Even There – Reason.com

A SWAT team this month rendered a residence in Charlotte, North Carolina, unlivable after firing pepper spray and tear gas into the house while in pursuit of a suspect who was not there.

Trey McClendon, 19, was later arrested without incident.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) sought McClendon on violent felony arrest warrants, according to a statement from Lt. Andy Harris. "SWAT was called to the scene to assist with his apprehension given McClendon's violent history," he said. "After several hours of attempting to communicate with Mr. McClendon were unsuccessful, officers attempted to enter the location to take McClendon into custody. Once officers gained access to the residence, they determined that McClendon was not present in the residence."

But the London family, who own the home, tell a different story. They claim they knew McClendon wasn't present at their house, and that they only gave officers permission to enter so that the officers could check for themselves without incident. "The keys were literally placed in their hands, and we don't understand why they decided to bring tanks out," Dominique Camm, the family's lawyer, said at a press conference on July 17.

Take the group United Teachers Los Angeles (UTLA). That union represents more than 35,000 teachers in the nation's second-largest school district. Earlier this month, UTLA published a paper calling for schools to remain closed until the district could ensure adequate supplies of protective gear for teachers and students. UTLA also demanded the reconfiguring of classrooms to allow for social distancing.

But that wasn't it. UTLA also stated that the pandemic requires an immediate moratorium on new charter schools in Los Angeles. How does that protect student or teacher safety? It doesn't, of course. If anything, the pandemic has revealed the necessity of additional educational options for parents and students.

Nation’s Second-largest Teachers Union OK’s Strikes Over School Reopenings

The American Federation of Teachers, the second largest teachers union in the country, is authorizing its members to go on strike if their schools don’t meet their standards for a “safe” reopening amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 1.7 million school employee-strong union says it will lend its support to any local chapter that wishes to strike over their school’s reopening plans. According to the organization, school houses should only open back up in places where infection rates are low and schools can enact safety measures.

In her announcement of this policy, union president Randi Weingarten called President Trump’s approach to school reopenings “chaotic and catastrophic,” claiming the administration has left educators angry and fearful. [Full-on TDS at play]

“We will fight on all fronts for the safety of our students and their educators,” Weingarten told the group’s annual convention. “But if authorities don’t protect the safety and health of those we represent and those we serve, as our executive council voted last week, nothing is off the table.”

The union’s leadership approved the legislation on Friday and announced it on Tuesday at its convention. Their resolution identifies their conditions for the reopening of schools, which include mandatory masks, social distancing, and updated ventilation systems.

Research Indicates That More BLM Protestors Are White Than Black

Numbers from a recent Pew Research Center survey indicates that almost half of those polled (46 percent) who said they attended a BLM protest were white. Only 17 percent of those who say they attended a protest focused on race or racial equality in the last month were black. Hispanic Americans account for 22 percent of recent protest attendees, and Asians another eight percent.

Pew Research polls have broken down the make-up of Americans participating in protests or rallies focused on issues related to race or racial equality. These demographic studies show participants not only by race by but other categories such as gender, ethnicity, partisan affiliation, education, and whether they live in urban or rural areas.

About four-in-ten (41 percent) of those responding to a June poll who said they recently attended a protest focused on race are younger than 30.

City dwellers made up 41 percent of those who protested within the past month, with 42 percent of participants living in suburbs. Those living in rural areas accounted for just 17 percent of recent protesters.

There was a large divide based on political party affiliation, with 79 percent of those who said they participated in a protest focused on racial equality in the last month identifying with or leaning toward the Democratic Party, while just 17 percent said they are Republican.

UN Spokesperson: The Riots Are “Peaceful Demonstrations”

A spokesperson for the United Nations has criticized the Trump administration’s response to violent riots taking place in Portland and other American cities.

Speaking to reporters on July 24, UN spokesperson Elizabeth Throssell said, “Peaceful demonstrations that have been taking place in cities in the US, such as Portland, really must be able to continue without those participating in them — and also, the people reporting on them, the journalists — risking arbitrary arrest or detention, being subject to unnecessary, disproportionate or discriminatory use of force, or suffering other violations of their rights.”

Throssell is the media and communications officer of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. Prior, according to information she posted to her profile on LinkedIn, she spent 23 years working for the BBC.

Throssell’s work history tells you all you really need to know about her bias. The BBC, her former longtime employer, has a reliably left-wing, statist and internationalist bias. How biased is the BBC? Peter Sissons was a 20-year veteran anchorman for the organization.

“In my view, ‘bias’ is too blunt a word to describe the subtleties of the pervading culture,” Sissons said of the BBC in 2011. “The better word is a ‘mindset.’ At the core of the BBC, in its very DNA, is a way of thinking that is firmly of the Left.”

Continuing, Sissons noted the organation’s soft spot for the United Nations.

“Whatever the United Nations is associated with is good — it is heresy to question any of its activities. The EU is also a good thing, but not quite as good as the UN. Soaking the rich is good, despite well-founded economic arguments that the more you tax, the less you get. And Government spending is a good thing, although most BBC ­people prefer to call it investment, in line with New Labour’s terminology.”

It is not especially surprising, therefore, to see a BBC veteran like Throssell migrating over to the United Nations. Nor, if she is representative of the mindset described by Sissons, is it surprising to find her parroting progressive propaganda on the nature of the riots in American cities and misrepresenting them as “peaceful.”

They are, of course, anything but peaceful.

The reluctance of Democrats, including the party’s presumptive presidential candidate Joe Biden, to criticize the Black Lives Matter movement’s violence is fueling Trump’s “silent majority.” So says Mark Smith, owner of the Da Vinci Group, a heavyweight government relations and public-affairs firm in Washington, D.C. He sports an 83-percent success record in fundraising for successful congressional campaigns over the past 10 years.

Smith appeared on Breitbart News Daily on Monday and told host Alex Marlow, “I will argue very strongly that that silent majority, on a day-to-day basis, thanks to the folks at Black Lives Matter … are making more and more recruits [for the president].”

Fewer children now means fewer consumers, workers, and taxpayers in the future. Rubio Tries to Give Stimulus to Illegal-alien Households. GOP Shuts Him Down

An attempt by U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) to provide the spouses of illegal aliens with retroactive and future coronavirus stimulus payments was rejected by Senate Republicans in the latest relief package currently being prepared.

The provision proposed by Rubio, along with fellow Republican senators Thom Thillis (N.C.) and Bill Cassidy (La.), would have given a retroactive Economic Impact Payment of $1,200 to American citizen adults who did not receive one because they are married to noncitizens without Social Security numbers and also failed to have tax information on file themselves.

The checks sent out to Americans earlier this year were distributed largely based on tax information. As the IRS website states, “The payments, also referred to by some as stimulus payments, are automatic for most taxpayers. No further action is needed by taxpayers who filed tax returns in 2018 and 2019 and most seniors and retirees.”
