Man who won women's cycling race stands alone on podium after female competitors refuse to join him - TheBlaze

A man who won his age division in a recent women's cycling race accepted his award alone after the women who finished in second and third place refused to join him on the winners' podium.

On Sunday, 46-year-old Wesley Mumford, who in 2017 began undergoing medical treatments to appear as female and who now goes by the name Lesley Mumford, trounced the competition in the 40-49 age bracket of the women's Desert Gravel Co2Ut, a grueling 100-mile gravel race along the desert mountains of Colorado near the Utah border. In fact, based on the final results, it could hardly be considered a competition. The second-place finisher, Lindsey Kriete, crossed the finish line a full 17 minutes after Mumford, and third-place winner, Michelle Van Sickle, lost to Mumford by more than half an hour.

Even after Mumford humiliated the women both physically and emotionally, he seemed nonplussed that Kriete and Van Sickle declined to join him on the winners' podium. On Monday, Mumford took to Instagram to share an image of himself standing alone in first place, arms raised in celebration and a smile of delight on his face. He also made note of the women's absence in the accompanying message. "I have no idea why so many people bailed before the podiums, but they did. I swear I wasn't the only one in my age group," he wrote in part.

NBC FACT CHECKED by Twitter after Posting Misleading Photo on Pornographic LGBTQ Book

Twitter’s community notes fact checked NBC News after it used a misleading photo in a tweet about a sexually-explicit LGBTQ book found in school libraries.

“An Illinois teacher offered her middle schoolers a bestselling LGBTQ-themed book,” the NBC News tweet read

“Parents filed a police report over her book choice.”

The teacher Sarah Bonner read to her class the LGBTQ book entitled “This Book is Gay.”

However, NBC used a photo of the teacher holding a totally different book.

That’s not all the food in the pipeline. “Conscious Foods grows new varieties of leafy greens, seedless berries, and pitless cherries. Our first products [are] flavorful, nutrient-dense salad greens,” the company says. And the company has plenty of backing. Pairwise has drawn more than $200 million in investment capital and also has a multi-year collaboration agreement with Bayer Crop Science valued at $100 million.
this isn't good. One more perversion of the food supply. Lab grown meat, GMO grains, leafy vegetables, mrna injected cattle, ... .... ... I guess it really is time to produce all of our own food. Just one more thing to do.

Posts misrepresent safety of produce-protecting solution from Apeel | AP News

THE FACTS: California-based Apeel Sciences markets that its plant-based solution can keep fruits and vegetables fresh and at their prime longer — and that it’s edible, too.

But social media posts are distorting the safety of that product, known as Edipeel, by conflating it with an unrelated cleaning product that shares a name with Apeel.

“If you see the Apeel logo on any fruit and veg do not buy it, this is a Bill Gates and WEF company, this chemical makes things last 3x longer and cannot be washed off, in US and Canada at the moment,” a tweet reads.

Chicago suburb cancels carnival after chaotic teen flash mob - TheBlaze

An armed forces carnival that was scheduled for Sunday was canceled by officials in a Chicago suburb after a flash mob of hundreds of teens caused chaos at the event on Saturday.

The Village of Tinley Park in Illinois announced that the final day of the Armed Forces Weekend Carnival scheduled for Sunday had been canceled "due to safety concerns stemming from a flash mob incident at Saturday’s event."

"Police said a group of about 400 teenagers who were responding to a call on social media to form a flash mob gathered at the carnival Saturday evening and began running through the parking lot and fighting with each other in an attempt to cause chaos and disrupt the event," Tinley Park government officials said in a statement.

A police officer was injured attempting to break up a fight and was treated at a local hospital before being released.

Authorities decided to cancel Sunday's festivities after learning that another flash mob was being planned for Sunday's carnival.

China is Building Killer Robots Using Artificial Intelligence

Many of us have seen The Terminator, a 1984 film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. It depicts an almost unstoppable robot sent back in time from 2029 to 1984. Its mission was to kill a woman whose unborn son will save humanity from Skynet, a 2029 artificial intelligence system that had become self-aware and then decided to destroy all of mankind because humans were interfering in their plans and programs.

Two Australian Women Told They Broke The Law After Criticizing Trans-Identified Male Breastfeeding Child - Reduxx

Reduxx has learned that two women in Australian have received notices from Twitter informing them they have broken Australian law after tweeting about a trans-identified male who has been breastfeeding a child.

Jasmine Sussex and Standing For Women Queensland (SFWQ) were both contacted by Twitter on May 16, with the platform informing the two accounts that specific content they had posted would be censored to Australian users in order to comply with Australian law.

Twitter sent two emails to each user, the first explaining that the platform had received “official correspondence” from a “government entity or law enforcement agency” which had claimed that their content had violated Australian law. A second email was sent shortly after to each user advising them that the content was going to be withheld in Australia.

A major downturn in the volatile trucking industry could signal a recession that could be worse than that of 2008 to 2009 or even 2019.

Transgender pedophile who subjected his 7-year-old daughter to a 'vortex of darkness' sues New Jersey women's prison for hampering his witchcraft - TheBlaze

New Jersey permitted a 34-year-old man convicted for torturing and filming pornographic, transgender videos with his 7-year-old daughter to serve his 25-year sentence in a women's prison. The child rapist now claims that the women's facility has wrongfully interfered with his diabolic rituals.

Matthew Volz filed a lawsuit on April 28 in the Hunterdon County Superior Court against the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women.

Volz alleges in the suit that he and the "entire Wiccan population" at the prison — an inmate subset for which he provided no accounting — have suffered religious discrimination and now seek religious accommodations.

Students: Homeless drug addicts have invaded California high school — leaving behind needles, sleeping on campus, using restrooms - TheBlaze

A group of students from a San Jose high school demanded on Thursday that district officials take action to prevent homeless drug addicts from continuing to invade their campus, an issue students say has been going on for a year.

A coalition of 20 students from KIPP San Jose Collegiate, a public charter high school, stood before school officials during a district board meeting last week to demand the administration do more to ensure the safety of students.

According to the students, homeless individuals have been trespassing on school property, using school restrooms, and leaving behind used needles.

US Senators Are Being Issued Satellite Phones in Preparation for a 'Disruptive Event'

Members of the U.S. Senate were recently offered satellite phones that will allow them to communicate in the case of a “man-made” or natural disaster, according to a report.

Citing numerous people familiar with the matter, CBS News reported all 100 senators were recently offered the phones.

More than 50 took Senate Sergeant at Arms Karen Gibson up on the offer.

The network reported Gibson said the phones were offered last month as a means “to ensure a redundant and secure means of communication during a disruptive event.”

Wealthy tech mogul's desperation to remain young has him using his son as a 'blood boy' - TheBlaze

In an effort to delay or possibly even reverse decrepitude, 45-year-old tech mogul Bryan Johnson has tapped his son's veins.

Johnson sold his digital payments company Braintree to PayPal for $800 million in 2013, then started the brain-machine interface company Kernel.

The technologist's millions reportedly did not bring him peace. Instead, he was left depressed, bordering on suicidal, haunted by the inevitability that the march of progress would one day leave him behind.

TheBlaze reported earlier this year that Johnson had assembled a team of 30 doctors and was poised to spend $2 million a year on his body, admitting, "What I do may sound extreme, but I'm trying to prove that self-harm and decay are not inevitable."

According to Bloomberg, the technologist hopes to have "the brain, heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, tendons, teeth, skin, hair, bladder, penis and rectum of an 18-year-old" via the execution of his Project Blueprint, "an algorithm that takes better care of me than I can myself."

Abandoned fields and low yields underscore Wheat Tour 2023 | Kansas Wheat

The three-day average calculated yield for the fields that will be harvested was 30 bushels per acre.

While an estimated 8.1 million acres of wheat were planted in the fall, the Kansas wheat crop has suffered from a multi-year drought, which has robbed the state’s yield potential and resulted in many abandoned fields.

The official tour projection for total production of wheat to be harvested in Kansas is 178 million bushels, indicating that tour participants thought abandonment might be quite a bit higher than normal at 26.75%. The production number is the average of estimated predictions from tour participants who gathered information from 652 fields across the state. Based on May 1 conditions, NASS predicted the crop to be higher at 191 million bushels, with a yield of 29 bushels per acre and abandonment at 18.5%.

On Thursday, yields in areas between Wichita and Manhattan were better than what participants had seen earlier on the tour, improving as they moved north, averaging 44.1 bushels per acre.

Tough New Hate Crime Law Has Irish Fearful Their Luck's Running Out on Free Speech | RealClearWire
LIMERICK, Ireland -- Ireland is on the verge of passing the most aggressive hate crime law in the European Union, which includes the first legal protections in the EU for transgender individuals. Government officials say the bill offers necessary protections at a time when immigration is on the rise and traditional ideas about sex and gender are being challenged.

Canada Bill Would Banish Free Speech From LGBT 'Safety Zones'
A bill in Ontario, Canada, would criminalize saying the wrong thing within 100 meters of an LGBT ‘safety zone.’

But regular people don't want these kinds of laws.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Those vaccinated against COVID-19 have a 26 percent higher mortality rate on average compared to those who declined the jab – and the death toll is even more staggering for vaccinated people under 50 years old, where mortality is 49 percent higher than for those unvaccinated.

The shocking numbers are based on government data from the United Kingdom and were brought to Senator Ron Johnson’s (R-WI) attention by Josh Stirling, one of the nation’s top insurance analysts and formerly Senior Research Analyst for U.S. nonlife insurance at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co.
