Expensive energy may have killed more Europeans than covid-19 last winter
After Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, Vladimir Putin weaponised his country’s energy supplies: cutting gas exports to Europe and causing prices to surge. Although wholesale costs have now fallen across the continent, the prices of domestic electricity and gas, compared with two years earlier, were up by an eye-watering 69% and 145% last winter.

High energy prices can cost lives. They discourage people from heating their homes properly, and living in cold conditions raises the risk of cardiac and respiratory problems. In November The Economist predicted that expensive power might result in between 22,000 and 138,000 deaths during a mild winter. Unfortunately, we appear to have been correct.
It was definitely Nuland the khazarians that killed Germany's pipes.

Russia required payment for gas in a currency that would not be confiscated. NATO west had already stolen 600 billion of Russia's foreign reserves. So long as Europe refused to pay, they wouldn't get any gas. HOwever that is precisely why the USSA reich had to destroy the pipelines, to ensure that Europe would not negotiate their way out of the ukraine war. Because Russia still maintains the gas pipeline contracts in Ukraine, and ukraine sells it to the west.

Ohio school district punishes students for 'misgendering' peers — even in off-campus communication and messages on personal cell phones, lawsuit alleges - TheBlaze

According to the complaint filed by Parents Defending Education on behalf of parents, the policy even extends to off-campus communication and private text messages on students' personal cell phones.

PDE filed a lawsuit against Olentangy Local School District on Thursday, claiming that the district's policies violate students' First Amendment rights by forcing them to alter their speech both at school and at home.

The district's attorneys allegedly confirmed to parents that students are banned from "misgendering" other students and school facilities.

Students are expected to use the individual's "preferred pronouns," and those who refuse will be subject to "disciplinary action," according to the lawsuit.

Report: Nearly 25% of medical science papers and 34% of neuroscience papers are bogus - TheBlaze

For years, the public has been instructed to "follow the science." That might prove especially difficult if the science is bunkum.

German researchers have determined that at least one-quarter of the scientific papers circulated in recent years were likely plagiarized or altogether bogus.

The driving force behind this worsening trend is so-called paper mills, which "use AI-supported, automated production techniques at scale and sell fake publications to students, scientists, and physicians under pressure to advance their careers."

While fake publications are not a new phenomenon — with some activists even disseminating their own to indict the academy in recent years — it was previously unknown how bad the situation was in the world of biomedicine.

Bernhard Sabel of Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, who also serves as editor in chief of the journal "Restorative Neurology and Neuroscience," endeavored to find out using "a simple method to red-flag them and estimate their number."

The main issue is almost every reporter is exactly the same as that guy in the video. I'm glad Ted Cruz went after him the way he did. He's right, literally day 1 Biden did these border issues. As bad as it is in Mexico with the girls and the cartel, we don't need those people in the USA with their problems. Let them immigrate LEGALLY like our parents and grandparents did.

Yale research accidentally proved liberals more racist than conservatives – HotAir

I loved it despite the fact that the authors themselves didn’t understand the meaning of their research. They thought it proved that White liberals are trying too hard to be “allies” of minorities, but what it in fact proved is that conservatives respect minorities as individuals and treat them just as they treat White people.

The writeup itself is a bunch of liberal racist gobbledygook, filled with virtue signaling, misrepresentations, and blindness to the meaning of the findings.

Federal judge strikes down law banning adults under age 21 from buying handguns | Just The News

In a Wednesday decision, U.S. District Court Judge Robert Payne noted that individuals receive numerous constitutional rights and duties at the age of 18 and contended that "the statutes and regulations in question are not consistent with out Nation's history and tradition."

"If the Court were to exclude 18-to-20-year-olds from the Second Amendment's protection, it would impose limitations on the Second Amendment that do not exist with other constitutional guarantees," he opined. Payne cited the Supreme Court's 2022 Bruen decision, which determined that any gun control must be consistent with the country's history and traditions surrounding firearm regulation.

If any of you are familiar with the Ezra's Eagle prophecy, there is a three headed eagle that I think represents the USA. The three heads being the three branches of government. At a point in the prophecy, one of the heads rips out the second head and then the third head. I think this story is about that happening now, and the first head to get ripped out will be SCOTUS. I believe the second head will be the United States Congress.

The Great Left-Wing Disinformation Operation Against the Supreme Court, by Josh Hammer | Creators Syndicate

First, the outlet ProPublica began publishing a series of pieces "exposing" the well-known fact of Justice Clarence Thomas' long-running friendship with billionaire real estate tycoon Harlan Crow, and alleging ethical improprieties pertaining to the justice's purported failure to disclose certain information. Second, Politico alleged a conflict of interest for Justice Neil Gorsuch in an old real estate transaction in his native Colorado that involved the CEO of a major law firm. Third, Business Insider relied on a "whistleblower" to allege corruption on the part of Jane Roberts, the wife of Chief Justice John G. Roberts, due to her being a well-compensated legal recruiter. Fourth, The New York Times ran a lengthy and meandering front-page story about the at-times coziness between George Mason University's Antonin Scalia Law School and some of the Court's right-of-center justices.

President Joe Biden warns Howard University about white supremacy - TheBlaze

President Joe Biden gave a commencement speech at Howard University on Saturday, when he warned graduates of the dangerous threats the country faces from white supremacy.

Biden told the graduates of the historically black university, "The most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland is white supremacy."

He proudly added, "And I’m not saying this because I’m at a Black HBCU, I say it wherever I go."

DeSantis takes aim at digital currency, tracking gun sales – Orlando Sentinel

One of the bills (SB 7054) would prevent digital currency issued by the U.S. Federal Reserve or foreign governments from being treated as money under Florida’s Uniform Commercial Code.

President Joe Biden last year signed an executive order directing officials to examine the risks and benefits of cryptocurrencies. The order also sought recommendations on a central bank digital currency, but no such currency has been adopted.

The Republican-controlled Legislature overwhelmingly passed the bill that DeSantis signed Friday.

Some Christian leaders say it's an 'abomination' to use the Bible to cause harm with anti-trans laws

The religious right has taken a staunch stance against LGBTQ rights amid a wave of anti-trans legislation.

They've quoted the Bible, referring to "God's good design of males and females and heterosexuality."

Some open-minded Christian leaders said it is an "abomination" to use the Bible to threaten people's well-being.

Planned Parenthood says courts have been ‘fully captured’ by conservatives, calls for court packing and term limits to stop ‘dangerous agenda’ - TheBlaze

Planned Parenthood Federation of America warned on Sunday that the federal courts have been “fully captured” by conservatives and called for court packing and term limits to stop the judges' “dangerous agenda against abortion rights, voting rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and so much more.”

PPFA published a press release over the weekend announcing “support for a number of additional policies to reform our federal courts.”

The group claimed its proposed court reforms promote an “equitable judiciary” that is “essential for maintaining a critical foundation of a just democracy.”

PPFA called for expanding the number of justice on the U.S. Supreme Court to reflect the nation’s population growth and increased diversity since 1837 – the last time SCOTUS was expanded. However, the group did not specify how many justices it believes should sit on the bench.

It also argued that justices are serving longer terms than their predecessors and requested that term limits be enacted.

IRS cans investigative team from Hunter Biden probe in move whistleblower claims is 'clearly retaliatory'

WASHINGTON — The IRS on Monday removed the “entire investigative team” from its long-running tax fraud probe of first son Hunter Biden in alleged retaliation against the whistleblower who recently contacted Congress to allege a coverup in the case, The Post has learned.

The purge allegedly was done on the orders of the Justice Department, the whistleblower’s attorneys informed congressional leaders in a letter.

“Today the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Criminal Supervisory Special Agent we represent was informed that he and his entire investigative team are being removed from the ongoing and sensitive investigation of the high-profile, controversial subject about which our client sought to make whistleblower disclosures to Congress. He was informed the change was at the request of the Department of Justice,” Mark Lytle and Tristan Leavitt wrote.

The whistleblower, who supervised the Hunter Biden probe since early 2020, hasn’t publicly identified the first son as the subject of the case he says is being brushed under the rug, but congressional sources confirmed it.

“On April 27, 2023, IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel appeared before the House Committee on Ways and Means. He testified: ‘I can say without any hesitation there will be no retaliation for anyone making an allegation or a call to a whistleblower hotline.’ However, this move is clearly retaliatory and may also constitute obstruction of a congressional inquiry,” the lawyers went on.

Media's Lies About The Durham Report Vs. What The Report Said

New York Times: “Mr. Durham’s 306-page report revealed little substantial new information about the inquiry, known as Crossfire Hurricane, and it failed to produce the kinds of blockbuster revelations accusing the bureau of politically motivated misconduct that former President Donald J. Trump and his allies suggested Mr. Durham would uncover.”

That suggests there was no proof or even significant evidence in Durham’s report that the FBI was hounding Trump for any reason outside of standard, dry agency business. That’s false.

What the report actually said: “Our investigation … revealed that senior FBI personnel displayed a serious lack of analytical rigor towards the information that they received, especially … from politically affiliated persons and entities. … In particular, there was significant reliance on investigative leads provided or funded (directly or indirectly) by Trump’s political opponents. The Department did not adequately examine or question these materials and the motivations of those providing them…”

In other words, the FBI willingly accepted allegations from Trump’s political rivals, treating them as objective data, rather than what they were: traditional campaign waste material.
