How could they possible know any of this?

Green comet, last near earth 50,000 years ago, makes closest approach to planet on Wednesday night | Just The News

Acomet not seen since the last ice age will make its closest approach to Earth on Wednesday, offering a once-in-a-geological-age opportunity for sighting the icy astronomical body.

Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) last passed by Earth around 50,000 years ago, during a time when Neanderthals were still extant and wooly mammoths still roamed the planet.

It will pass within about 26 million miles of our planet's surface on Wednesday night, offering potential naked-eye viewing opportunities under optimal conditions.

The comet is observable as a green smudge with a long tail in the air, astronomers say. The object was first spotted in March of last year.

Astronomers estimate that the comet is possibly "unbound" to our Solar System, meaning its orbit may carry it permanently away from Earth after its present passage, marking what may be the last time the object will be observable from our planet.

Maryland school district educates kids on 'speciesism,’ oppression against plants, as part of BLM curriculum | Fox News

A Maryland school district is educating students about "speciesism," which includes the oppression against plants as part of a lesson plan linked to Black Lives Matter.

Teachers in Howard County Public School System [HCPSS] were instructed to assign students a "Privilege or Oppressed? Worksheet."

The worksheet prompts students to identify "the places where they enjoy privilege and places where their status causes them to lack privilege."

Speciesism is one of 13 "types of oppression," including racism, sexism, classism, ageism, and adultism.

Every Bite Of Processed Food Is Killing You: Study

A new study out of England published Tuesday links ultra-processed foods with heightened risk for developing and dying from cancer.

Researchers at London’s Imperial School of Public Health collected diet data for nearly 200,000 middle-aged adults and monitored their health over roughly 10 years, specifically their risk of developing 34 types of cancer. The medical researchers found that every 10 percentage point increase in the consumption of “ultra-processed” food — defined as items heavily processed during production such as ready-to-eat meals and a majority of breakfast cereals — was associated with a 2 percent rise in cancer incidence and a 6 percent increase in overall cancer mortality. Specifically, a 10-point increase in processed food consumption was associated with a 19 percent increase in ovarian cancer and a whopping 30 percent rise in ovarian cancer deaths.

“This study adds to the growing evidence that ultra-processed foods are likely to negatively impact our health including our risk for cancer,” lead author Dr. Eszter Vamos said in a press release. “Although our study cannot prove causation, other available evidence shows that reducing ultra-processed foods in our diet could provide important health benefits.”

Of Whales and Wind Farms: Greenpeace Silent on Whale Deaths Linked to Ocean Wind Project - The New American

On Tuesday, the eighth whale since December 5 washed up on the New York/New Jersey shoreline. While officially the cause of the whale deaths is not yet known, many conservationists believe that a massive offshore wind project may be a contributing factor to the deaths of the humpback whales.

Greenpeace, an environmental organization who largely made their name and reputation by standing up to commercial whaling vessels, has been oddly silent about the whale deaths. The organization’s main fight now seems to be tackling the specious claim that fossil fuel emissions are leading to out-of-control global warming, which some scientists believe is leading to all kinds of chaotic weather, from hurricanes to extreme cold.

On Fox News, one of Greenpeace’s original founders, Patrick Moore, claimed that the group’s silence on the dead whales is a betrayal of the organization’s mission.

United Kingdom Set To Fine Residents £300 And Give Them Criminal Record For Using Wood-Burning Stoves – winepressnews.com

Nearly over 1.5 million or so Brits face being fined and slapped with a criminal record for using their wood-burning stoves per a new law that took effect to reduce emissions in the country.

Leeds Live says that a new regulation recently came into effect that instructs residents to follow a new set of clean air regulations and exemptions to make sure these wood-burners meet code for use.

The Times confirms that Brits who fail to meet these new rules will be issued a £300 ($366.70) fine, which can extend up to £1,000 ($1222.34), and such an offence will be adding to the offender’s criminal record.

Repeat offenders could be sent to criminal court, and charge an additional £5,000 ($6111.69) – with an extra £2,500 ($3055.84) each day the law is broken, LBC adds.

Denmark Considers Compulsory Military Draft For Women To Boost Defenses And Prepare For War With Russia – winepressnews.com

“If Putin wins this war, he will continue. He must lose.”

Danish officials are heavily considering making it mandatory for women to be constricted in a military draft if one is ever initiated.

Last week Defense Minister Jakob Ellemann-Jensen sat down for an interview with the state-owned TV 2 network to discuss compulsory constriction.

If we are to be able to strengthen our defense, we must have a basis to strengthen it. In public and private companies you can get employees from elsewhere, but you can’t do that in defense. They must produce them themselves.

The defense benefits from the fact that more women are coming.

Ellemann-Jensen said, saying that if the military cannot get what they want voluntarily it should be mandated instead

REPORT: FBI Planning to Build New Headquarters Building TWICE THE SIZE of Pentagon - Republicans Need to Stop This

The bureau is reportedly planning to build a new headquarters which will be twice the size of the Pentagon.

This raises a few obvious questions. Why do they need such a massive building? Are they increasing the size of their ranks to fill it? Should the American people be concerned about this?

In recent years, millions of Americans have come to see the FBI as a politicized agency which does the bidding of the Democrat party.

News Leaders Cry ‘Objectivity Has Got To Go’ In Plea To End Objective Journalism – winepressnews.com

Columbia Journalism Dean and New Yorker writer Steve Coll decried how the First Amendment right to freedom of speech was being “weaponized” to protect disinformation. In an interview with The Stanford Daily, Stanford journalism professor, Ted Glasser, insisted that journalism needed to “free itself from this notion of objectivity to develop a sense of social justice.” He rejected the notion that journalism is based on objectivity and said that he views “journalists as activists because journalism at its best — and indeed history at its best — is all about morality.” Thus, “Journalists need to be overt and candid advocates for social justice, and it’s hard to do that under the constraints of objectivity.”

Fashion Week Costumes Are A Symbol Of Elite Contempt

“This is ‘The Hunger Games,’” said one TikToker, showing pictures of Jenner and Doja Cat, explaining that “the rich and the elites [are showing] blatant, grotesque forms of wealth while common people are being pitted against each other for their own entertainment because they’re bored.”

“Like, we get it, we’re all crying about paying $10 for eggs while y’all play dress up,” stated another.

Catholic school suspends students for believing in 2 genders - TheBlaze

A student has reportedly been suspended by a Catholic high school for the remainder of the school year for believing that God created two genders and protesting against transgender students using girls' bathrooms.

Since November, Josh Alexander has allegedly been suspended from St. Joseph’s Catholic High School in Renfrew, Ontario. Alexander was allegedly punished by the school for organizing a protest against transgender students using girls' bathrooms. Alexander said he launched the demonstration after two girls at his school confided in him that they were uncomfortable sharing bathrooms with biological males.

Fatherless children, dangerous cities: Numbers confirm deep roots of urban crime epidemic | Just The News

Permissive criminal justice policies are widely thought to be large factors driving such grim statistics. Dig a little deeper, however, and an even more important cause of the crime epidemic plaguing blue cities comes into sharp focus: Many of these cities are also home to a staggering percentage of single-parent households, the great majority of which are headed by single mothers.

(Sales) Taxation Is Theft - The New American

A group of House Republicans is supporting legislation that would replace federal income, payroll, estate, and gift taxes with a 30 percent national sales tax. The bill also eliminates the Internal Revenue Service, giving states the responsibility to collect the sales tax and send the revenue to DC.

This deputizing of states to act as federal tax collectors violates the principles of federalism, especially since the plan forces states that have chosen not to make their residents pay sales taxes create a mechanism for collecting sales tax.

A 30 percent sales tax on all goods with no exceptions and no deductions will increase taxes imposed on millions of Americans. The sales tax legislation provides a way Americans can receive a monthly “prebate” payment to help offset the cost of the sales tax. Still, many taxpayers would be paying more under the new national sales tax system.

If the sales tax becomes law, Congress may never have to increase the rate above 30 percent. This is because it can rely on the Federal Reserve to increase the sales taxes via inflation. Consequently, this inflation tax will increase the pain inflicted by the sales tax on the American people.

Biden Admin Distributes 'Black Resistance' Flyers to Border Agents

The Biden administration distributed "Black Resistance" flyers to U.S. Border Patrol agents that celebrated the Black Lives Matter movement and anti-American activist Colin Kaepernick, causing a stir among officers who criticized the agency's promotion of groups that hate law enforcement.

The agency circulated a poster that features the words #BlackPower, #BlackLivesMatter, and "Abolitionist," as well as watermarked images of Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.) and Kaepernick, according to a copy of the flyer obtained by Townhall. The flyer infuriated officers, who say the agency is promoting people who "hate" them.

"BLM hates us, so does Maxine Waters," one officer told the outlet. "Kaepernick hates us. They’re anti-police advocates against the nation's largest police agency."
