As Kids Dabble In Witchcraft, Neutrality Toward The Occult Isn't Enough

When I read “Harry Potter,” it made me more interested in what I saw my grandma and cousin do. I asked for a Ouija board and tarot cards for my birthday. I started checking my horoscope every day and tried learning spells.

Eventually, things took a darker turn, and we decided to put the Ouija board and tarot cards away for a while. After converting to Catholicism several years later and starting to experience what some call “spiritual warfare,” the biblical concept of fighting against evil spiritual forces, I decided to stay far away from anything related to witchcraft or the occult.

MTG calls for 'national divorce' between red and blue states | Washington Examiner

Instead of celebrating the birthdays of America's Founding Fathers, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, the Georgia GOP firebrand is calling for a "national divorce," tweeting that red and blue states need to separate and go their own ways. She is also advocating shrinking the federal government.

"We need a national divorce," Greene tweeted. "From the sick and disgusting woke culture issues shoved down our throats to the Democrats' traitorous America Last politics, we are done."

Synchron backed by Bezos and Gates tests brain-computer interface

Synchron is part of an emerging crop of companies testing technology in the brain-computer interface industry.
The system is implanted through the blood vessels and allows patients to operate technology using only their minds.
“It helps them engage in ways that we take for granted,” Synchron CEO Tom Oxley said.

Communism/socialism is Satan's counterfit of the United Order. Communism in practice is a kleptocracy.

Just Like 'Real' Socialism, 'Real Feudalism' Has Never Been Tried

The influential political thinker Noam Chomsky, for example, published a 1986 essay titled “The Soviet Union Versus Socialism,” in which he claimed that the USSR did not have a socialist, but rather, a “state capitalist” system. The Daily Beast has previously claimed that “Cuba Is A Kleptocracy, Not Communist.” And Newsweek, in a 2017 article, cited several thinkers who insisted that North Korea, perhaps the best example of the horrors wrought by Marxism, had “rejected Communism decades ago.”

These excuses are dangerous because they make it seem like communism is a noble philosophy that only gets a bad reputation because of bad people who failed to correctly implement it. But to realize how wrong this approach is, imagine if Marx’s apologists gave such get-out-of-jail-free cards to any other political system: feudalism, for instance.

It's about time! No knock warrants are dangerous and unconstitutional. There should not be warrants issued based on confidential informants or anonymous 911 calls. Swatting should be ended.

New Hampshire Bill Would Ban No-knock Warrants - The New American

House Bill 135, currently pending before the House’s Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee, is co-sponsored by a bipartisan trio of legislators: Representatives Kristina Schultz (D), Matthew Santonastaso (R), and Glenn Bailey (R).

The text of the measure makes its purpose very clear: “No law enforcement officer shall seek, execute, or participate in the execution of a no-knock search warrant.” In the text of the bill, a no-knock warrant is defined as “a warrant authorizing a law enforcement officer to enter a premises to execute a warrant without first knocking or announcing his or her presence.”

No knock warrants should be illegal. It disgusts me they are even considered legal under our constitution.

They needlessly put people at risk of tragedy and traumatize innocent family members including children.

From the police perspective....why would the want to go charging into a home turning every grandma, grandpa, wife, teenager into a potential shooter?

And long term on the PR battle, fear is not respect.
How many of those kids the police traumatize will grow up honoring and respecting law and order?

Spain Legalizes Bestiality But Imposes Jailtime For Injuring A Rat And Other ‘Vertebrate Animals’ – winepressnews.com

The nation of Spain has now officially decriminalized bestiality, sometimes known as zoophilia, as long as the individual does not cause injury to the animal it has relations with. Furthermore, the country will also be criminalizing those who are caught injuring or killing “vertebrate animals,” the law reads, creating a paradox in the legal system that allows Spaniards to have sex with their pet but be imprisoned for harming or killing a wild animal.

The two new pieces of legislature titled the “Project Law for the protection of animal rights and welfare,” and “Project of the Organic Law to modify Organic Law 10/1995, of November 23, of the Penal Code, regarding animal abuse” – were both presented in August, 2022, and then later qualified on September 8th. They recently passed in the Spanish Parliament over a week ago. They both passed with relatively thin margins, voting 174 votes in favor, 167 against and 7 abstentions; and 178 votes in favor, 165 against and 5 abstentions.

Latter-day Saints church fined millions for allegedly using shell companies to hide assets: SEC - TheBlaze

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, commonly referred to as the Mormon church, has been fined millions of dollars for supposedly hiding the size and scope of its actual investments, which now likely total more than $40 billion.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission announced on Tuesday that it had conducted an extensive investigation into the finances of the LDS church that stretched back decades. According to the SEC, between 1997 and 2019, the church and its investment firm, Ensign Peak, funneled funds through 13 shell companies in order to obscure the extent of the church's assets, which are currently estimated to be close to $44 billion. The LDS church manages to maintain such a well-stocked treasury because it asks its members to donate a tenth of their earnings, a biblical practice known as "tithing."

"Upon reaching the back of the cottage she pointed towards the rear of the property and asked if that was a person," the report read, per the Mail. "I could see that he had a gunshot wound to the chest and that he had a knot tied in an extension cord that was around his neck and it was attached to the limb directly above him," he continued. Authorities never recovered a weapon though the report rules the death a suicide, nonetheless.

Not just ivermectin: New FDA authority to ban off-label uses alarms doctors | Just The News

Doctors are speaking out against a new law that arguably paves the way for the FDA to prohibit treatments for purposes it hasn't expressly authorized, going far beyond highly politicized subjects such as treating COVID-19 with ivermectin.

The authority to ban off-label uses was buried on page 3,542 of the 4,155-page omnibus appropriations bill signed into law at year's end, though it's specifically applied to "banned devices."

The FDA requested this "very unprecedented" update after a string of court losses, Endpoints News senior editor Zachary Brennan told WBUR earlier this month, while cautioning that it's not clear whether the agency could broadly interpret "devices" to cover drug treatments.

Catholic Bookstore Files Lawsuit Challenging Jacksonville Law Requiring it to Speak Against Religious Beliefs | The Gateway Pundit

The city passed a Human Rights Ordinance in 2017 that added sexual orientation and gender identity to the civil rights law.

“Thus, they affirm that men and women are different and cannot use pronouns or titles that don’t align with a customer’s sex,” the statement continued. “DeTrude also wants to explain this policy and her Catholic beliefs about gender and sexuality in her store and on the store’s website. However, doing so is illegal under Jacksonville’s Human Rights Ordinance, which forbids communications that could lead someone to feel ‘unwelcome’ based on various protected traits. The law threatens Queen of Angels with unlimited fines and damages if it doesn’t comply.”

Wartime-style rationing of food, fuel, flights needed to 'rapidly and fairly' fight climate change, researchers claim - TheBlaze

A recently released academic paper suggested that governments should implement wartime-style rationing policies on goods, including food, fuel, and flights, to reduce the impacts of climate change, Fox News Digital reported.

Researchers at the University of Leeds in England argued that rationing policies similar to those imposed during World War I and II "could help states reduce emissions rapidly and fairly."
