South Dakota state Rep. Erin Healy, a Democrat, described the notion that children are safest in a family with a married mother and father as a "dangerous and un-American belief."

"Extremist group Family Heritage Alliance said this morning that the safest place for kids are in families that have a married mom and dad. What a dangerous and un-American belief," Healy tweeted on Monday.

Family Heritage Alliance's website indicates that the group wants "South Dakota be a state where God is honored, religious freedom flourishes, families thrive, and life is valued."

Healy lamented the failure of a measure to redefine marriage as between two people, rather than between a man and a woman. She retweeted a post in which a reporter said that the state House Affairs Committee had killed the bill in a 7-5 vote.

Researchers from the United States and Canada suggested that scientists should stop using "harmful" terminology and instead adopt more "inclusive and precise" language, including replacing terms such as "male" and "female" with "sperm-producing" and "egg-producing," the New York Post reported.

A group of scientists with the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Language Project recently published a paper in the Trends in Ecology and Evolution journal recommending more "inclusive terminology in ecology and evolution" to combat the "ongoing marginalization of many groups."

The group's website lists 24 so-called "harmful terms" that should be banned from the scientific community, including "man," "woman," "mother," "father," "primitive," and "invasive."

According to the scientists, "primitive" and "invasive" are "used derogatorily towards humans or human practices, and also scientifically inaccurate as implies an evolutionary hierarchy."

The researchers claimed that the phrase "survival of the fittest" is also "harmful" because it is linked to "eugenics, ableism and social Darwinism."

The Germany grocery store giant Lidl recently announced that they will begin the process of removing all meat products from their locations over the next several years, claiming to help hit emissions goals to help the climate. The Acalanes Union High School District in Contra Costa County hosted the event on Feb. 8 to welcome the new year, according to an email that was shared with Fox News.

The Biden regime has opened a new front in their war on law-abiding gun owners. Leaked ATF documents reveal the Regime plans to shut down gun stores across America by pursuing a “zero tolerance” policy for revoking federal firearm licenses (FFL).

Gun Owners Of America obtained these documents earlier this month which show the ATF updated its federal firearms license inspection guidance in January 2022. The Biden regime previously announced in July 2021 that they would be updating the guidelines established under the Trump administration.

The new guidelines state the “ATF must establish willfulness” to proceed with cancelling licenses, but the agency “does not have to establish a history of prior violations to determine willfulness.” Furthermore, revocation of the FFL’s license “is the assumed action” with violations.

Once FFLs are revoked, these records are added to the ATF’s digital gun registry which has nearly a billion gun and gun owner records. The new guidance greatly expands the Regime’s ability to criminalize law-abiding Americans and enact a backdoor national firearms ban.
