That is probably the saddest thought I have ever come across. It is true that life would be so much more "adventurous" and financial gratifying. I would be more able to indulge in many more of my personal hobbies and explore many more interests and locations, but I would never know the love, joy, and satisfaction that comes with having children. I have grown in ways that would never be possible. They teach me more about being Christlike and having charity than no amount study and self reflection ever could. For that I would choose having children over self indulgence any day.
