How so? It's a legitimate question, this is an LDS forum isn't it? That is supposed to be the one common thing bringing people here. If you were a porn star for a living I'd ask you the same question.

So someone who questions the official narrative of the events of 9/11 is equivalent to a porn star now?
You must be in the straw business....

So I will re-state my disgust at the comments the military people made in the story, but I also know the high probability of the story being written to emphasize the slant they want. I'd be interested to know what the majority of people in the military think. In any case, with the wars we've been waging, I still say we've thrown away much of the worldwide goodwill we once had. We have ceased to be who we were.

Agreed. I'll tell you what bother's me about all this. These whistle blowers come out with information about the crimes being committed by our government and what happens? They get their lives ruined, the news hardly covers it, most people don't know or care about it, and the corrupt bureaucrats committing the crimes only grow bolder when they see no repercussions. Neither those in power, nor the people have done anything with any of the information. For example, if the information brought forward about Benghazi or fast and furious isn't enough to impeach Obama, then nothing is. If our useless politicians can't impeach him for the well documented murderous drone strikes then when can they? Of course he's not alone, most of our politicians are complicit in one scandal or another; they all have dirt on each other and they're all forced to protect each other. So what good did Bradley Manning or the other whistle blowers do? Our country has fallen so far. Each new scandal brought to light only serves to increase our condemnation. :(

I'd also like to make my opinion clear, which is, that just because you may be the prophet, doesn't necessarily mean that you know all things. I hope that's not a crazy thing to say. Also, there are quite a few scriptures which talk about making friends with the enemy lest they destroy you. I believe it is wisdom in God that we (the church) not cross the gadiantons at this time. Though, I believe that in the near future, we will no longer have that luxury.
