Members of the Satanist Temple performed on Sunday what its spokesman describes as a “pink mass” an admittedly made-up ritual, celebrating gay love, at the grave in Meridian, Miss.

To be quite frank, these two groups deserve each other.

I do think it is evidence of the symptom of homosexuality and Satan worship like that illustrated in the Old Testament. More evidence that we are on the same path as Jerusalem, destruction.

I found this very interesting about the church and its current non-stance on homosexuality:
http://www.csindy.com/coloradosprings/m ... id=2715504" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Because the church is no longer speaking out, there is a growing contingent of members who believe that we will eventually embrace gay marriage and seal these couples in the temple. They cite the previous ban on blacks from going to the temple, and its reversal, and say that it is only a matter of time before the church corrects its faulty policy about gays.
Your comment about coming destruction reminded me of this article, and others I have read.

to be honest with you gay marriage in the temple will never happen and the church does not want to draw attention to it about what is going on so therefore they have other things to worry about like increasing missionary work, bring up the attendance in the church and etc.....Lizzy60 wrote:I found this very interesting about the church and its current non-stance on homosexuality:

Re: Satanists Perform ‘Gay Ritual’ at Westboro Gravesite
The church is well-networked and communicated as to what has happened with regards to both their local and worldwide membership, and put in mind that most outside critics, including the circular group including mother jones et al who keep regurgitating this article about how the church will go very rarely care much for the real way that the church works, nor do they base their judgements on accurate information. The whole idea that because the church doesn't say constantly to oppose same-sex marriage doesn't mean that their view has changed or will changed on the family structure. What it does mean, is that they're not monolithically focused on the issue. Perhaps something that critics and plenty of members alike always forget is that the church's work is to help members, not appease critics, which plenty of people like to extrapolate from the Manifesto and Polygamy and ignore plenty of other peculiarities that the church has. In addition, is homosexual behavior wrong, sure, but unchastity offenses between opposite sex couples are also wrong, attempting to make the church approve of a plural marriage is also wrong, and so forth. The church cares about those issues too, and honestly the multi-tasking that the church regularly does is conveniently left out of this regurgitated story.jcricket6048 wrote:to be honest with you gay marriage in the temple will never happen and the church does not want to draw attention to it about what is going on so therefore they have other things to worry about like increasing missionary work, bring up the attendance in the church and etc.....Lizzy60 wrote:I found this very interesting about the church and its current non-stance on homosexuality:

Which leads me to wonder, why do various critics of the church like to regurgitate the same thing ad nauseum so much?
