I've had this experience many times. I can tell where they are, whether they are standing or sitting, the expression on their faces, and what they may be saying - yet never with these mortal eyes. It's more of a "knowing" that they are there.

This is an example that is a pretty obvious visitation. I wonder however, if most of us are not recognizing how often Angels actually do attend to us and minister to us each day. I would wager confidently, that every single person who has voted in this poll (even those whose answer was the last one), has received Angels thousands of times throughout their lives, and they simply do not realize or recognize those ministering to them. We tend to apply or own meanings and explanations for things that force the universe and the heavens to conform to the little paradigm stuffed in the tiny bubbles we are afraid to leave in order to see truth and reality. Angels are not merely fairy tale characters, and they are not just a blessing "for someone else"! I testify that angels are about us in abundance each day of our lives, and we can choose and learn to *SEE* them!

I would love it if others would come out with some examples and discussion so others can learn to recognize these heavenly beings that minister, protect, and serve us all every day - to help us through this mortal probation! O:-)

How was the Angel dressed? Was she glowing, translucent, or just ordinary clothes and appearance ? Could you touch on that a bit more? Thanks.

I'm going to pass this thread on to a friend hoping he'll share his profound experience w us, or at least let me post his story, it's really cool, an Angel appeared to him and told him to accept the Gospel and join the church.

Recently someone who I believe to be an angel came to me just as I was in the middle of being awake and sleeping. She came to me with a message. She said "my son, help me". I awoke thinking my mother was in trouble. I called her and found she was not, and it stumped me. As I pondered on this for a couple days, it finally came to me it was an ancestor on my mom's side. She came to me asking for help. I did as I was prompted and voiced a blessing to her in proxy on someone elses head (her relative). I instantly felt her ascend after the blessing was pronounced.

Do angels still need our help? I believe some do! My guardian has been open to my doing energy work for him. He is relying on me to cast off all the generational junk that has been handed down to me which burdens him.

They do come to us with messages, warnings, etc... but we need to be open to their needs also. We can also serve the angels who serve us.

This reminds me of a study my husband told me of. There was a study of surgical patients that had had surgery like 20 years ago. They split the charts/cases in half, and had a group pray over one half of the patients. The other half was not prayed over. The result was they opened the cases and found that the half that was prayed over had quicker and better recovery than those that didn't have prayer on their behalf. It showed that it didn't matter when the prayers were offered, in this case 20 years later, but that it still had an effect on the patient. I will have to dig up this study to corroborate, but this was the way it was told to me. It really opened my eyes to the possibilities, especially with temple work and sealings. ( I can't find the exact study, and the topic seems very unsupported, but we know prayer works. It makes sense to me that it does.)

ElectLady ~ I read about the same study not too long ago. It is amazing what a difference prayer makes. O:-)
