In the Dirty south.

Hi, my name is Robert from north georgia. I work construction (mostly residential). I have not pursued any college degrees. I guess I would be considered a peasant in this society. A ticked off peasant.

There are some interesting posts on this web. I am in the process of educateing myself, or should I say reeducateing myself. I feel that my life is full of mistakes and I have a good history of walking out of one trap and into another. I feel that society and the powers to be have tricked me and manipulated me. I noticed that they are doing the same to everyone else. I was not a full believer in the prophets, but I know now that everything they said was true. And I appriciate the fact that there are other people that have figured things out. Their studies make it easier for people like me that are just starting to wake up. The Joel skousen video captured my attention. Thanks to all!

Bob

welcome bro, I miss the south, anyway pieces of paper hanging on the wall don't make you smart. I went to school with people dumb as bricks... looking for the truth shows you are smarter than 98% of the people out there so like I said welcome we need your point of view *balance* thanks for showing up.

Intelligence has nothing to do with institutional training. Intelligence can be focused and disciplined by specific training but a person can do the same through 'self-education'.

If you need a degree to meet professional qualifications you jump through the hoops by going to college. If you work in a field that allows you to develop the necessary skills in the work itself - that's 'schooling' and every bit as valuable as any other.

Don't hold back on your input here. It is important to have lots of opinions and insight so we can all benefit.
