I just got my membership record number so i can start working on my mission papers. I created an account on lds.org.

Now the fun part, when I went to the website http://www.lds.org/mss" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I signed in and was excited to finally start filling out my paperwork when I looked and saw that it was all in Spanish......

Is this a sign or is this a sick joke?


But seriously I want to fill them out and it is really hard to fill out mission papers in a foreign language. Anybody know how I can fix this? My preference for language is set to English but for some reason when I login to http://www.lds.org/mss" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; its always Spanish.

I don't think its a joke. Maybe an error somewhere. Is your normal lds.org account also in spanish? If it isn't than try closing the browser and try again? Reset it to english again, or contact who ever is over that website?

no i know its not a joke i was being foolhardy. my normal lds.org language is in english and i closed it and tried to login a couple of times. i'm thinking that whoever makes the recommendation (My Bishop) sets the language the forms should be in. Probably a simple mistake but frustrating none the less
