New letter to the Editor

Post by Col. Flagg »

Yep, at it again...

Thank you for submitting a Letter to the Editor. Your letter will be reviewed for publication in the Daily Herald.
Effective March 1, 2013, our federal government enacted what they referred to as a ‘sequester’, a series of spending cuts amounting to a mere $85 billion to help alleviate a $1.2 trillion budget deficit for 2013. However, in February, Washington borrowed approximately $250 billion to pay its bills, thus, we just wiped out the sequester in a whopping 30 days and added $165 billion of new debt. Of course, let’s call the sequester what it really is… the beginning of austerity for the U.S. President Obama has declared that his salary is immune to the sequester and recently increased federal salaries across the board. Furthermore, the so-called ‘Dept. of Homeland Security’ has recently purchased almost 2 billion rounds of ammunition (for what? ) and 2,700 MRAP’s (mini-tanks) for domestic use while anti-gun legislation makes its way through Capitol Hill. The IRS is also hiring thousands of new agents in order to deal with those who are in violation of ‘Obama-care’ once it goes into effect and our military-industrial complex is still getting its bloated share of the pie for its wars for profit overseas. And not to be outdone, our big banks and Wall Street have rec’d over $16 trillion in bail-outs by the privately owned and operated ‘Fed’ since 2008. It’s not just fiscal insanity we’re dealing with, it’s also corruption on a massive scale! When are we going to wake up as a nation to what is going on and to what is coming?

Probably a good thing they are not listening, Col. Ever been audited by the IRS ? I can imagine you being fingered for a visit from the DEA and/or the BATF.

Bring 'em on... I'm squeaky clean with taxes and have been my whole life - they wouldn't be able to find one cent of misreporting. B-) Actually, I'd welcome a visit by some IRS thugs so that I could ask the agents if they know they are working for a privately owned and operated banking cartel that is using them as a collections agency in order to plunder and pillage the nation? Most are unaware of this. Joe Bannister, a former IRS employee, found out the truth about the 'Fed' and IRS many years ago and and resigned citing constitutional violations of its operations and began speaking out against them almost immediately and so they tried to silence him with some kind of lawsuit (that fortunately failed). Here's a little about it:

Maybe, but they did print one about a year ago that I wrote in regards to the true motives and financial underpinnings of what really took place with the 9/11 'attacks'. But most of the time, they do shy away from information like this. Our local paper (the Daily Herald) consistently has front page news/stories that don't even qualify as news (e.g. - a picture with 2-3 kids playing in a public water fountain with the headline 'beating the heat' last summer). Yep, front page as if there was absolutely nothing to report. It's amazing.
