The problem I’ve had in pondering this prophecy in the past has been coming up with some realistic economic scenario which would fit the definition of a “crash”, but wouldn’t be “fully felt” for a minimum of 2 to 3 months afterwards although as of this date, it could be as much as 4 to 5 months. That’s a tall order, speaking as an economist. Crashes are big things that everyone knows about and generally impact people’s lives within days or weeks.

Having studied the Great Depression a bit, not many had any real and lasting fear until years after Octobers bloody markets. The "crash" was downplayed and then disconnected in most peoples mind for years. All one need do is look at the decided downturn that happened last year, to see what in retrospect may very well be seen as the crash.

We must also remember that dreams and visions given to men such as he, are not given in words fit for distribution. It is the idea and impression that are important in these cases, not the prophetically binding word of prophecy.

Maybe he said crash in the third year when the vision said to him that the crash will begin in the third year? It's not important, what is important is not to be gleaned by us as it was never intended for us aside from being shared with us anecdotally. We then should treat it anecdotally.

In my mind the market crashed long ago. It's been staying afloat by debt and debt alone.

Many Americans recently or soon will get a tax refund, followed shortly by a tax rebate. That will help for a few months, maybe.

Also, the Bear Stearns thing. If the Fed and our president didn't bail them out (hasn't been done since the 30's) we would probably have already seen a run on the banks. All the fed did is put a little band-aid on a gaping wound. It won't last, it didn't fix the underlying problem.

We're right on schedule. It's interesting to look back at what people thought as we see the events unfolding.

When was the closed door meeting? Wasn't it March? I just thought of that when reading this:

Does anyone else feel this today? i woke up this morning at 3 am, could not get back to sleep after trying for an hour. I got up (saw that it was snowing outside) and went downstairs to the couch, turned on the computer and decided to do a little genealogy since I was awake. But anyway, something just doesn't feel right this morning. I've prayed for peace of mind, but can't shake the feeling of something happening (soon??) Just not a good feeling.

Maybe there is a connection?

I believe the prophecy includes two economic crisis - one in the third year which is smaller that coincides with the housing market that did happen in 2007 and a second one the happens in 2008 which leads to chaos.

Can someone please post the entire prophecy.

Dream of the Cleansing of America

A dream that he had in 1989 seeing the future of America as told to a close friend.
It was a dream of the cleansing of America.
Here are a few salient points that he mentioned:
* The Big economic collapse which leads to chaos will occur in the last year of the 2nd term of the son of George Bush who will become president.
* There will be a great drought at about this same time all over the
country.
* Many in the 'Church' will become unrighteous and apostatize.
* There will be a nuclear bomb or bombs go off in Northern Utah that will
affect as far south as the Salt Lake Valley.
* Hundreds of millions of foreign troops (Chinese, Russians, Germans, Latin Americans, etc. according to other prophecies) will invade America.
* The main foreign force (in the Nevada/Utah/Rocky Mountain area) will be Chinese or Chinese looking troops mixed with Latin American troops.
* He said that in the third year of the second term of President Bush, the U.S. economy would collapse, which in turn would cause a series of events, including an invasion of foreign troops on U.S. soil.
* Someone commenting that the patriarch must mean that President Bush (the 1st Pres. Bush) would be re-elected. Patriarch Wolfgramm then replied (remember, this is 1989) that it wasn't that Pres. Bush, but that it was the son of Pres. Bush who would become president that he was referring to.

I've never been able to find this prophecy or find its source. All Internet sources point to someone who's copied someone and its all a bullet point presentation as this one. Never have seen the entire prophecy, I wonder if it exists.

I would wonder that myself pj. The problem I see with many internet sites that are predominately LDS oriented is that they pick this kind of stuff up and blast it out there likes its something out of the Journal of Discourses or given in General Conference. There is so many assertions that circulate around the LDS internet crowd that it makes your head spin just to keep up with what is fact and what is fiction. We are a curious bunch indeed.

The problem I see with many internet sites that are predominately LDS oriented is that they pick this kind of stuff up and blast it out there likes its something out of the Journal of Discourses or given in General Conference.

For that matter, I'm pretty sure that the Journal of Discourses doesn't count as an "official" source of doctrine either.

But I get your point.

When my wife and I each received a blessing under the hands of Iohani Wolfgramm, he gave that blessing in Tongan, he had his nephew (a close friend of mine) translate our blessings into English. When Iohani would speak to us in English, his English was not very good.

I suspect that the original prophecy was given in Tongan and was transcribed into English.

That being the case the bullet points were probably the translators translation of the thoughts expressed in Tongan.

His prophecy and my own blessing from Iohani look about the same with item by item points.

I believe that this prophecy is very much in the form of how Iohani was recorded.

I believe this prophecy to be accurate and in its original form.

How do hundreds of millions of foreign troops get inside our country unnoticed? We have satellites that can detect troops amassing for attack.

Any ideas how this would be possible?

The Chinese have already successfully tested a lazer weapon that can disable satellites.

quite awhile ago there was an incident near China/Japan where a US fleet was intercepted by a Chinese fleet that approached undetected.

The invasion could start with somethings inside as a few of these ships.

Strategically placed along the NAFTA Corridors.

p51 read Spetsnaz: The Inside Story of the Soviet Special Forces by Viktor Suvorov. It will tell you all that you want about the plans of foreign infiltration and eventual conquest. It starts with whats called grey terror events from terrorist organizations which are not directly linked to the commie forces ie radical Islam etc. but who are financed and trained by the commies (Al Zawahiri anyone) which then leads up to pink and red terror events where the ICBM's come a calling. If you read the battle plan for Spetsnaz you will get a pretty good idea how it all will go down, assuming that we don't just totally capitulate and turn the country over to them peacefully and without a fight which, if Obama is elected may very well prove to be the case.

I was thinking about what we might do if America is invaded. I had the distinct impression that it would require the preisthood using their power to destroy the enemy. I thought of Pres Monsons story of the downed airman who used his priesthood to command a U- Boat to pick him up. Since we dont possess heavy arms to defeat tanks etc. we will need to rely on a higher power. (call down fire, cause canyons to collapse etc)

Skousen said we would be attacked after the economy failed and we were distracted by terrible internal anarchy. That seems like a possible scenerio.

Never forget that the commies have been set up, supported and financed by wealthy Naked Capitalists from inside The United States. (David Rockefeller, CFR, Trilateral etc) This follows the pattern set in the BOM. Dissenting nephites wanting power go over unto the lamanites, stir them up to war against the nephites and then the fecal matter contacts the atmospheric accelerator at a high velocity.

That was part of the impression, that he will protect us in marvelous ways if we are worthy and have faith in him and of course, ask for his help.

Don't get too used to it ... I still think you need to look inside our own government and country for the real conspiracy that is destroying our nation and that will ultimately destroy it. Our founding fathers and prophets have warned us that the U.S. can survive any external threats, but that we cannot and will not survive treason from within and unfortunately... this is what we've got going on in DC.
