Missouri Democrats Introduce Legislation to Confiscate Firearms – Gives Gun Owners 90 Days to Turn in Weapons

Missouri Democrats introduced an anti-gun bill which would turn law-abiding firearm owners into criminals. They will have 90 days to turn in their guns if the legislation is passed.

Dana Loesch Radio reported on the new legislation being pushed by Missouri Democrats:

Any person who, prior to the effective date of this law, was legally in possession of an assault weapon or large capacity magazine shall have ninety days from such effective date to do any of the following without being subject to prosecution.

Here’s part of the Democratic proposal in Missouri:

4. Any person who, prior to the effective date of this law, was legally in possession of an assault weapon or large capacity magazine shall have ninety days from such effective date to do any of the following without being subject to prosecution:

(1) Remove the assault weapon or large capacity magazine from the state of Missouri;

(2) Render the assault weapon permanently inoperable; or

(3) Surrender the assault weapon or large capacity magazine to the appropriate law enforcement agency for destruction, subject to specific agency regulations.

5. Unlawful manufacture, import, possession, purchase, sale, or transfer of an assault weapon or a large capacity magazine is a class C felony.

I see a snowball's chance in hell of this one, but considering I live here that's pretty disturbing.

It made me think of the George Albert Smith prophecy about Missouri being swept clean of all its inhabitants in the last days before Christ returns and the New Jerusalem is built.

If the bill passes, they should use the 90 day grace period to get some last good use out of those guns.

I was in Missouri back in 2009 when my family and all my in-laws traveled back to Nauvoo and I absolutely LOVED the state, in fact, I got the most joyous and peaceful feeling as we traveled west through it on highway 36 on our way home as if somehow I 'belonged' and of course, we really enjoyed our time at Adam-Ondi-Ahman. :ymhug: :) Knowing we were standing in one of the most sacred places on earth where Christ would preside one day over the biggest sacrament meeting in the church's history as well as being where the Garden of Eden once existed was exhilerating.

Washington State is basically doing the same thing.

Little by little government and crooked state legislators are going to keep chipping away at gun owners until they start to comply. Once the snowball starts to roll, it will get bigger and bigger...then fear will strike the holdouts and many of them with give up their guns...then before you know it, socialism and enslavement has everybody by the short hairs. No guns...no freedom, it's as simple as that.
Do we think that thousands of people could be arrested for not complying? The system would be overwhelmed. Their strategy is to scare people into submission...AND THIS IS WHAT THEIR BANKING ON. Don't people realize this?
There are 100 million people with guns...how could they all be arrested? Here's how...a few at a time until there are none left to resist...that's how, there is no other way, only they wouldn't go to prison...they would go to their grave. However, these same 100 million people could do as is written in the Declaration of Independence and oust crooked government and institute new guards for our safety...but no...let's just run scared the other way and hide our heads in the sand and hope it all goes away. That will fix the problem.

We have two choices...stand up for freedom OR become slaves to tyranny or worse, have our wills broken, our lives changed forever just because some bankers want to turn us into a bunch of worthless slaves to their madness. And just remember, it is Satan running the whole thing. Is he going to win here on earth what he didn't obtain in heaven...our agency? Because that is exactly where we're headed folks. I'm not young by any stretch, but I'm mad as hell. I can't believe that so many people can't see what's happening right before their eyes. I can't believe that the FEW is now running the MANY around on tether lines. God says to repent now before it is everlastingly too late, right? Similarly, we could turn things around before it is everlastingly too late. I don't want to see our land, the PROMISED LAND, become a sewer wreathing with downtrodden people that wished they had done something.

Does Almighty God want us to throw away what He gave us? Or does He want us to defend it? Is there such thing as righteous indignation?

Doctrine and Covenants 98:6
6 Therefore, I, the Lord, justify you, and your brethren of my church, in befriending that law which is the constitutional law of the land.

D&C 44:4
And many shall be converted, insomuch that ye shall obtain power to organize yourselves according to the laws of man;

101:80
And for this purpose have I established the Constitution of this land, by the hands of wise men whom I raised up unto this very purpose, and redeemed the land by the shedding of blood.

God gave us the right to own and bear arms so we could defend against tyrannical government. Just how much plainer could this get?

Where are the Elders of Israel that are supposed to save the Constitution?
