New Member Introduction
Hi! I'm new to your forum and would like to introduce myself. My husband and I are retired and live in southern Utah. We are empty nesters and all of our children have moved to other places, so we travel frequently to see them and to take care of elderly parents. We have callings in our little Branch and are busy as well with sharing the Gospel, Tample work, Indexing and Family History. We also enjoy gardening, reading prepper books and hiking.
My particular interest is in medicinal plants and edible wild plants. I have my Masters of Herbology from Dr Christopher's School of Natural Healing and am continuing my research into what healing modalities would be effective in a grid down situation.
I'm a retired Montessori school teacher, so I'm also interested in trends in education as well as preparing to teach grandchildren at home if necessary.
I'm hoping to find many kindred spirits and much good information here on your forum. Thanks for having me!

Sounds like you have some talents and knowledge that will come in handy not only to your family/children, but also to us as board members as well. Glad to have another member here - I look forward to your posts.

Re: New Member Introduction
Hello! I just joined this forum a couple of weeks ago and have found this association of saints to be very helpful! There's lots of smart people on here that have helped with me some questions that I have had. Is there anyway that you can post a list or a link to a list of natural remedies to sicknesses? That would be great information for all of us to know. Welcome!

Welcome.
I have spent several years doing genealogy and I love taking the names through the Temple. Last year I started doing Indexing shortly after they started the 1940 census and worked on that project until it was all arbed and done. I have worked on a few other indexing projects as well as continuing my own family history. I also love learning all I can about natural healing remedies and herbs.

This is Dr. Christopher's official website and it has some wonderful information on herbs, ailments, and how to be healthier. There is also a listing of medicinal herbs, that I think you, embryopocket, might be interested in.
