I don't have a problem with drones being used for search-and-rescue or man hunts. However, of armed drones are used to kill an American citizen without a judge or jury; that is a outrageously dangerous precedent. I suppose we were all waiting for something like this to happen and it was only a matter of time.
The media tells us this guy is a cop-killing monster. That may well be and this guy deserves swift justice, but whose to say the controlled media won't start saying me or you are the next terrorist.

He's now a 'domestic terrorist' according to the LAPD (which could also be labeled the same thing). Here we go......

The media has spent decades ingraining into our minds that the death of a cop is a far greater tragedy than the death of a civilian, and that cop killers are the lowest scum of humanity. So if they were looking for a suitable target on which to justify an illegal execution without due process, they've found one. I have no doubt they'll try to capitalize on it.

This is an interesting scenario for those of us who are paranoid. What can modern drones with thermal imaging run by the Fed Govt really do? Will they find this guy with them? It is natural to worry about what modern technology can do and that it might impossible to hide, but I doubt that's the case. Unless they get a lead on this guy through some other means and then use the drone to follow him from there, my guess is that the drone won't be all the useful. Finding a human sized and shaped heat signature without knowing pretty close to where to look is unlikely, even with modern thermal cameras and image processing.
Also, for me it will be a surprise if they use weapons on a drone within the USA. The guy who wrote this article/blog mentioned that, but didn't site any references about armed drones. If that does happen it will be very interesting, and far more worrisome than using a drone for tracking. If they are able to find and identify the guy with the drone (rather than based on a human tip or something), that will also be a worrisome surprise.
For so many reasons this is a story worth watching...

I noticed on another site that there are problems with the official story on this. It looks like this may be another false flag. I haven't looked into it at all so I can't say one way or the other. You may have to consider that the facts and statements from the media are suspect in this case as well.
If it is the case that this is a false flag, it would be interesting to see what it's trying to project into the minds of the public.
1. Drone Hunts will now be common in America
2. Equating "cop killing cop" with "cops who challenge higher authorities". (considering the timing with all the sheriff letters being sent on the 2nd Amend.)
3. Warrentless searches in homes are okay in this case because its a manhunt (I heard this was happening)
