Project Longevity and Sandy Hook

Any one heard of Project Longevity in possible relation to Sandy Hook?
The project (http://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/2012/Nove ... -1414.html
) is an initiative headed by none other than Eric Holder as an effort to "reduce gang violence and gun violence in the state of Connecticut". A federal-led project working "across levels of government and jurisdictional boundaries – to protect the American people from the crime that threatens too many neighborhoods and claims far too many innocent lives.”
The project was announced on November 27th in New Haven, CT (20 miles from Sandy Hook) by the same official who authorized Fast and Furious, which put semi-automatic rifles directly into the hands of Mexican drug traffickers.

What stands out from this is, if there was ever a cover story that could explain getting federal and state officials and police together often other than to prepare staging a false event like this, or to at least facilitate and then cover up the apparent shooting, this is it.

Having recently lived in CT for 4 years, I can attest to the mindset that the people and more so the cops in CT have about gun possession by citizens. I helped lead the Young Men's in my Ward in CT and we had a boyscouting target shooting activity in the middle of another member's 100 acre property in a more rural part of the state. We were about 20 minutes into our activity, shooting paper targets set downward into a gulley, when 2 officers showed up to investigate the gun noises that had been reported. After having the boys cease fire and step back from the firearms, we explained to the first officer about our safety precautions and how we were having a standard boyscout activity. The whole time this was happening the other officer had stayed a few steps back, with his gun drawn, held low and steady. Several other leaders were there including the Bishop and none of us could shake the strange feeling we had about the officer's extreme response.

Upon hearing of this project and just knowing the mindsets of CT government officials and the police there, it now somehow seems so much more likely to me how these groups could have helped make this event into the spectacle it is in order to bring about the level of gun control they probably all agree upon.

Here's also some interesting statistics about the state of Connecticut comparing the gun crime rate with other major cities in light of this project's stated purpose:
