And I was crazy about Shirley Temple. Her movies were on television when I was little. (We didn't own a t.v., but we knew some people who did.)

Wow! Lots of videos!

You know, I couldn't make a hula hoop work.

I remember nothing of the world in the fifties. I was 2 1/2 when they ended. My memories center around the 60's and 70's.

Ha! I've never seen a Fizzies commercial as far as I recall.

Oh, the old days, when sex and wild abandon was not used to advertise nearly everything.

For some reason "Fizzies" made me recall this song:

T- Bones "No Matter What Shape (Your Stomach's in)- 1966

And then the term "stomach" caused me to recall this song:

Kenny Rogers & The First Edition - Just Dropped In

All this was a result from attempting to learn Hula Hoop. :))

It sounds like you'd fit in with our family. 1947, 1950, 1952 were some of their birth years.

Ah, the days when singers sang instead of screamed, chanted, went on and on about killing self and others. I think I'm having a wave of nostalgia.

Andrew55, I've heard that song before, but never have seen the singers. Thanks.

Question: That guy that was singing falsetto. Does he always sing like that?

I noticed the audience sat and listened. Wow!

I liked the song sans the falsetto part.

Very good, mseva, you gave it a good go. If others give it a try we'll see what answers they come up with. If no one else answers them I'll post all of the answers.
