I remember "high waters" - they were pants that were not long enough to be in style. I also remember bell bottoms so wide they were wider than the waist. I also remember pants that were tight from the knee to the ankle.

I remember fizzies! Barely. I loved to suck on them.

And I was crazy about Shirley Temple. Her movies were on television when I was little. (We didn't own a t.v., but we knew some people who did.)

Me and a friend always put fizzies in our water during a home-ec meal, and we always got in trouble. Loved them!
