Yup. Maytag washers had them in the thirties, forties thru 52, good for those who had no electricity.

I remember "high waters" - they were pants that were not long enough to be in style. I also remember bell bottoms so wide they were wider than the waist. I also remember pants that were tight from the knee to the ankle.
