Yes, some people could repent but will they? There are a lot of Korihors in this world, bent on taking your freedom and liberty away so you can be ruled over having no ability to resist. Satan has the hearts of many wicked people that are too far gone. Remember Hitler, Musilini and others? How about those who do evil, who seem to thrive on it.
If Americans do not wake up and take a stand soon the results will be enslavement to a tyrannical government. The writing is on the wall for those that look.
After all, the BoM tells us to be aware of latter-day Gadiantons. And these Gads want you and I under their control.

Obama is not the "modern-day leader of the Gadiantons"... The Gadianton's are still in control whether we have a Democratic or Republican president. We could have a Republican President, Republican majority in the House and Senate and STILL the Gadianton Robbers would be in control. The Secret Combination with Lucifer at it's head IS in control and they decide who gets to be the Presidential candidates of the major political parties. They control things behind the scenes and both major political parties are very much involved. My hope is that more and more people will step out of the right-left / republican/democrat paradigm and realize just how deep the rabbit hole goes.

Very true, Brian. And I might add...the LDG's have to have willing participants to further their goals. Obama, if I understand it correctly, is a trained socialist. That's why the crap he has pulled is coming at us so rapidly. He may not be the leader, but he is a high ranking officiator pushing the socialistic agenda.
